This was included on my tour to Bantreay Srey. There was a guided tour, of which I was the only tourist. I was expecting many more butterflies. Yes, you can walk in the enclosure, and you can see how the process starts with a caterpillar. The butterflies are almost tame in that you can walk up to them and take... More

Excellent visit, this was started by a Scotsman helping the ecology and stimulating the local people to think about the environment and hence creating work opportunity. We had a guide who was very passionate about the project. We went by tuk tuk for $20, a beautiful drive through farming areas en route

We combined this with another visit out that way and if you were just travelling out to the park only it wouldn't be with it. Compared to other butterfly enclosures it is quite small. The day we went it was raining so we knew we wouldn't see much and they did tell us before we paid that because of the... More

This place offers a slice of peace and tranquillity between temple visits. It is a beautiful little haven which is yet another initiative that helps bring education to the forefront. We had a guide show us around and explain what the team do there. When we visited it was alive with a variety of species. Well worth 5$ even if... More

We visited Banteay Srai, The Cambodian Land Mine Museum and the Butterfly Centre all in the same trip as they are relatively near each other. We were taken round the Centre by a guide who was very knowledgeable and explained the life cycle of the butterflies. We were then left to walk around at leisure, which we did. It's not... More

This was one of the best places I've visited in Cambodia. We bought the special which was a pass, food and a drink for $8.50. Our guide that was included was funny and informative. There weren't a lot of butterflies but the ones that were there were beautiful and I am really happy with the photos I got of them. The... More

We decided to go to Banteay Srey and noted the butterfly farm on our way. When we got to the farm the guide was away. The staff member at the counter asked if would like him to take us through. He was very knowledgeable, we saw varying sizes of crysalise. Lots of beautiful butterflies even though a better time to... More
