We went up in the balloon at about 7.15 am. We were in the balloon by ourselves and there was no one waiting to ride so we got to spend a considerable time in the air. The views of Angkor Wat, Phnom Bakheng and the surrounding countryside are great. Our photos do not do the view justice. It is well... More

Quick and easy to get to and do. Not a long balloon experience as tethered to the ground by a cable. Views depend on the clarity of the atmosphere! Not at all scary as only went up less than 100 metres. Good for kids for a first balloon experience.

Just a great thing to do if you are at Angkor Wat, great views but a bit scary! Reasonably priced, located just outside Angkor Wat, nice to do before or after you visit the temple.

The ballon is stationery an moves up to a height of 100m. If you have clear skies you can see all of Siem Reap. We just had 2 of us in the balloon but I think if it is busy you may not get the opportunity to move around ring to view all the sites so recommend you choose the... More

I wanted a helicopter tour , but was not available on the day of my visit , but got a chance and chose this for 20 dollars a person. There was no queue and was only one other couple . The Balloon is fixed to a rope and went up quickly . It remained at the top for around 5-7... More

This is not a hot air balloon (thats a different attraction). This is a tethered helium filled balloon. So you go up & you go down in the same spot. As other reviewers have mentioned its $20 for 10 minutes. We went at dawn to see the sunrise over angkor wat. It was however very smokey/foggy so did not have... More

We wanted to try hot air balloon for a while and this was the spot! Have paid 100 dollars for around 40 minutes free fly ( not attached to the string). !00$ may sound like a lot but comparing to Myanmar, flying in Bagan costs 350$ per person :( We were 7 people in the basket, a little crowded but... The trip costs $20/- but doesn't give time enough to click a few decent snaps of the Angkor wat. How long will the baloon stay up is not standardized, it basically depends on the number of people waiting to get on. The larger the crowd, the faster you come down. Total waste of money.

Considering US$20 would buy you a 1-day pass to Angkor Wat, US$20 for a 10-min balloon ride seems absurd, but since I'm only going to be there once in my life, it was worth it to me. The balloon is tethered, and a winch sends you up and down. I got some decent photos of Angkor Wat near sunset with... More

On our first day in Siem Reap, My husband and i decided to forego the immediate rush to the temples because we wanted to put a context on our trip. We went to the Angkor National Museum in the morning, where we immersed ourselves with the history, tradition and culture of Cambodia, and how it ties up with the temples.... More
