I chose our lake trip very carefully as I'd been warned that there were lots of rip-off tours around, and we were absolutely delighted with the Osmose tour. Everything was carefully thought out - even hot coffee brought along for the boat trip - and the whole day ran extremely smoothly. Everything we did was fascinating and enjoyable - meeting... More

Loved this trip. Eye opening and profound. Vicchai is a great guide and the people in the floating village are so friendly and welcoming. Be prepared to see first hand a different way of living. You will be changed for this-for the better. So much gratitude for the villagers opening their homes and hearts to me.

We went to visit the floating village, itinerary 3 with five people, which helped to make the cost very reasonable. Our guide Baran was knowledgable and friendly, and spoke English very well. He taught us about the ecosystem and the culture of the villages and was a pleasure to travel with. The visit to the villages was remarkable- it was... More

My friend and I chose itinerary 4 (a 2-day-1-night tour) including day tour in Tonle Sap, floating village, bird watching, cooking class, handcrafting and home stay. Since our group is small, so the price per head was quite expensive, however the experience we had was worthy! The guide was experienced in bird watching and can quickly identify all the birds... a boat trip to a Tonle Sap community and bird watching with a NGO Osmose. It was interesting to see the water hyacinth baskets and products, the school, the different activities to help a very poor fishermen community. There were many birds to see but the noisy motor of all the boats and barks was a real nuisance.

We were so happy to participate to the ecotour on the lake Tonle Sap with all our family (3 kids: 13-11-6 years) and understand the problematic of the lake with the seasons; we saw the people living in the floating villages, and could understand their organization and the development with the floating gardens. Our kids were happy to enjoy time... More

We booked a day trip to Tonle Sap lake during our stay in Siem Reap. The experience Osmose provided us exceeded all expectations. We not only saw the floating villages, but met families & learned how they make a living while reducing environmental damage. Our guide was not only knowledgeable, but passionate about the lake, its families & their future.... More
