If you want to cook a typical Khmer meal in a typical khmer family, it's the best place to go. Ms Laum and Mealea were so nice!! Ms Laum lives in a typical little house in the center of Siem reap. It's really easy to go. She doesn't speak English but Mealea was a really good translator. They explain me so much things about Khmer culture,on her family and on the traditions. And the most important thing: the meal was soooooo good!!! I recommend everyone to go there.

Had a great time with this sweet family. The father came to pick us up in our hotel and took us to his house which is in a very calm and secret place. There we were welcomed by his wife and his 2 cute girls. They showed us their garden and animals, talked about many different things and had yummy food. It was a great experience and a nice way to know the locals. I recommend!!!!

We had the pleasure of meeting the Nith family today. We had a wonderful experience. The family are lovely and welcome you into their home with open arms. The food was delicious and well worth a visit. Mr Nith picked us up from our hotel and was very friendly and his English was great. We dropped Kaka off at school on the way back to our hotel. It was a super experience and I would highly recommend it.

I was honoured to be Ms. Hong Ginlai’s first guest as she is a new comer to ‘Come Dine with the Locals’ She has a huge smile and is a fantastic cook. She doesn’t speak English but a lovely young Cambodian was there to translate. I just wanted to try a bit of different street food and see behind the scenes .... but you could really learn how to cook a few of the 15 meals she cooks daily in huge pots on hot coals. Not being the biggest meat fan Ms Wong kindly helped me cook 2 vegetable dishes. 60% of the bill goes straight into the hands of Ms Wong, so a great way to support the locals and have a unique experience.
