This tour was great. We got our faulty exercise in and saw all the main temples. Seda was a lovely tour guide and very informative. He was the best photographer and knew all the best places and angles. Only thing we would’ve liked to know is exactly how much cycling would be done. We were tired before we even got to Angkor Wat as we assumed we’d be picking up the bikes there instead of cycling from town. We recommend getting your tickets beforehand as well, otherwise you will need to detour to ticket office in the morning.

I had already visited some of the temples, but decided to do the bike tour. Had a fantastic time with Seda, learning lots about Cambodia as well as Angkor! Good bike and great guide made for a wonderful trip. The highlight of my visit to Cambodia. We ended up doing a long ride, so it was hard work - I guess routes and duration can be tailored, Seda was very flexible to see places I was interested in.

My experience with Edu-Cycle started with an email inquiry, to which Mike rapidly responded with good information and insight. We booked a private tour for a Sunday morning and my bike and helmet magically appeared Saturday night. Our guide, Va, had arrived ahead of the appointed time on Sunday and my buddy, John, and I were on our way. Va understood our desire (a relatively easy ride for some out of shape 60-somethings) and suggested the West Baray reservoir for a few nice sights/sites. One wat, 2 ancient 7th century temple rubble sites, 3.5 hours and 17mi/28 kms (relatively flat) later two tired bikers were back in the a/c with cool beverages. Our guide Va, a school teacher during the week, was a great source of information on Cambodian cultural and history. I highly recommend EDU-CYCLE and guide Va for a unique experience.

I loved the Angkor sunrise tour! Cycling is a great way to avoid the crowds going to Angkor Wat early morning and the cool breeze makes it a great way to wake up! My pick up was right on time and the bike that was provided, worked great. Va, our guide, was very helpful and has an contagious laugh that makes the tour so much better. Va made sure we had the best spot to take pictures of sunrise and afterwards took us inside Angkor Wat to explain more about the history of Angkor. He talks with pride about his people and takes time to answer any question you might have. The cycling itself was adjusted to the fitness level of the group and Va made sure every one could follow. Another big plus with this tour is that you support local primary education, a cause I feel very strongly about because education is the way to secure a better future for the next Cambodian generation. All in all was this an amazing tour that I highly recommend, if you want to see Angkor in a different way!

Although it was a misty and rainy morning, we had a wonderful tour thanks to our guide, Va. He helped us find the perfect spot for sunrise pictures at Angkor Wat, and then regaled us with history and stories throughout the tour. We were mesmerized by everything he taught and shared, and we immediately felt like we had known him for many years. Va’s deep love for his homeland and culture was very evident in the care he took to explain each detail and answer our questions. I highly recommend the Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour. This was an experience we will never forget!
