About Travel to Inspire
Travel to Inspire is a social enterprise with the scope of supporting families in rural Cambodia. At Travel to Inspire we devote 50% of our profits to support our development programmes in education, clean water and sanitation, in several villages in the north of Siem Reap. One of our goals is to inspire travellers by passing on to them as much knowledge on the region as we can: knowledge about its past but also about its present. To do so, we work with a network of local Khmer guides, certified and specialized in the history of the region. We take our visitors to many places around Siem Reap, including the famous temples at Angkor Wat, Bayon, Ta Prohm and Banteay Srei, the Cambodian Cultural Village, Artisan’s d’Angkor, Traditional Apsara Dancing, Butterfly Centre, and many more places. We can also arrange entire itineraries for you if you are looking for a unique experience. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a solo-traveller or a group of twenty people, we can accommodate any size.

The UNESCO-listed temples of Angkor are the reason why most travelers come to Siem Reap and a private tour lets you explore at your own pace. On this full-day tour, travel in the comfort of a private air-conditioned vehicle and hop out to explore Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, and the ‘Tomb Raider’ temple of Ta Prohm. After lunch (own expense), enjoy a comprehensive guided tour of Angkor Wat, including all three levels.

Roluos Group and Sunset Shared Tour
Most visitors to Siem Reap make a beeline to Angkor Wat, but there’s more to the area than the postcards suggest. On this tour, you’ll get a chance to experience more of the Siem Reap area, starting with the historic Roluos temples. The three temples formed the first capital city of the Khmer Empire and hold intricate carvings from when they were first built. In the afternoon, visit a local village and climb up Bakheng Mountain.

Siem Reap City with Tonle Sap Shared Tour

We will visit Angkor National Museum which is dedicated to the preservation of Angkorian artifacts, it also explains about Khmer art and culture from the Khmer empire. Most items in the collection date from the 9th century to the 14th century. We'll then head over to Wat Thmei pagoda which is on the way to Angkor Wat. Here you can learn more about Cambodia's tragic past as it was formerly the site of a killing field during the Khmer Rouge regime. And then go to see Artisans d'Angkor where you can see local craftmanship including stone and wood carvings and more. We'll then stop for lunch at a restaurant of your choice. After lunch we will visit the Tonle Sap lake to see the floating village. You can witness first-hand how the locals have adapted to living their lives there.
