I was travelling to Siem Reap with a big group of friends (10 of us in total) and approached Angkor Wat Shared Tours via email about organising a private, 2-day tour of specific temples and other attractions. They were quick to respond to my enquiry and quoted a reasonable price, working out at around US$35 for each of us for the two days. This included sunrise at Angkor Wat and the main temples of Angkor Thom on the first day, while on the second day we travelled to Bantei Srei, The Angkor Centre for Conservation of Biodiversity, Kbal Spean and Beng Melea.
The minivan supplied seated all of us comfortably and had effective aircon. The driver was competent and careful, and we felt safe in his hands compared with some of the other drivers we encountered in Cambodia! Plus he was always waiting with the aircon running, cold water, refreshing towels and a big smile when we returned from each stop.
Our guide Sary was really friendly and knowledgeble about the temples. He went out of his way to tailor our itinerary, working out when we would have to leave to make sure we could get to the ACCB around 9am in time for a guided tour, and still have time to walk to Kbal Spean. The early starts were well worth it to see the sunrise, make the most of the coolest part of the day, and avoid the crowds. He also took some great photos of our group and knew all the best spots to pose!
If I were to do it again, I would spread the visit over three days, and see the sunrise and Angkor Wat on the third day instead, as it was a lot to pack in to a two day trip, and it would have freed up the first morning to visit Ta Prohm and Bayon before they got too crowded. But it was an amazing experience.

I would recommend this to everyone, especially when you are traveling alone! Our guide was Jack and he knew a lot about the history of the temples and was incredibly nice. But you were not interested it was no problem to explore on your own as well.
The only annoying thing was that we had to stop at one specific restaurant that was kind of pricey and we spent a lot of time there which was very unnecessary.
But over all, I would recommend this tour to everyone (especially when Jack is your guide)

It was a wonderful experience. Great thanks to Youk Makara from Angkor Wat Share Tours!

Itinerary was well organised with perfect timing for each location. Impressed by Makara's vast knowledge and history. He is patience and accommodating, personal touch and look into details.

Looking forward to my next visit and will definitely engage him as my guild again!

A nice guided group tour of 5 sites. 1. Sunrise at Angkor Wat, Breakfast break, 2. Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider temple) 3. Ta Keo a temple that's fun to climb up the ancient stairs, 4. Bayon Temple in Angkor Tom and 5. South Gate of Angor Tom.
Narith, our guide was friendly and would start each site visit with background of the temple but would also help with photos and suggest good photo locations.
Cold water was generously provided on the tour.
Breakfast restaurant was a bit more expensive than most places but they didn't complain when I just ordered a coffee.
Overall a great way to see the major sights in the area.

The sunrise temple tour was such a great experience. I highly recommend doing the sunrise tour to prevent being in the high mid afternoon heat. The tour shows the highlights of the temples outside Siem Reap

Narith was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and kind, and also had several funny jokes and puns along the way.

Definitely book this tour!

Really enjoyed our floating village and ton le sap sunset tour. The highlight was definitely watching the sunset over the lake. Our guide Phrem was excellent and made the trip all the more enjoyable. His knowledge and English was very good meaning we learnt a lot about the community and surrounding area.

It was also nice to learn how tourism really helps the community as life on the lake seems very tough for the families.

A smaller boat ride through the mangroves came at an additional $5 cost which is something to be aware of but again this was well worth it and helps the community.

Would recommended Phrem for any tours you are taking.

My girlfriend and I took the sunrise shared tour at Angkor Wat with a local guide named Narith. The weather was perfect and tour logistics made it so easy to see all the major temples. Narith was a wealth of knowledge. He had detailed information about each temple sharing prevalent the history and mythology. He answered all our groups questions and really made the experience special! I would highly recommend to take this tour for the price, the ease of transportation, and the quality of guide’s we experienced.

I did 2 different tours with this company: the small sunrise tour (on the 27th of February) and the full day big tour (on the 28th of February).
It was really nice and the tour guides were really passionate by the places and their work. Both, Phanne & Ti (just remember his nickname) were professional and funny.

I will definitely book this company again if I come back in Siem Reap/Angkor.

Thank you!

Wonderful experience. The tour guide Phrem was very informative and took us to see the highlights of each of the four temples we visited. This is the first post-covid high season so there weren't very many on the tour. There only 8-10, which meant the tour was pretty easy going and there was time for photos and what not. Recommend getting the phone number of the driver/guide from the booking office so you can contact them directly if needed. Also wear long pants and sleeved tops to visit temples (regulations are generally enforced).
Highly recommended tour.
Thanks Phrem for a wonderful day.

We went on a tour with Bong Sim. On the new days we saw temples in Cambodia, on the second day we went to see how the locals live. Houses on the water. This is very interesting. The group was great. Afterwards we sailed through the forest on a boat and then had a very nice dinner at a restaurant on the water. We also watched a beautiful sunset. Special thanks to our super guide, I recommend to everyone 🙏🏻 A very nice and kind man who tells the history of his country in an interesting way 🙏🏻 Contacts for our guide ( +855 96 693 98 66 / +855 85 86 66 53 / What's app +855 96 693 98 66 / Facebook ( Bong Sim ) 🙏🏻
