- Voyager506019060377 contributionsIt’s much more relaxed than the main city markets and in a nicer part of town. The shops help the locals find employment. It sells much better quality goods than the markets and nobody harasses you to buy anything. You can’t haggle over prices here.Visited May 2024Traveled with friendsWritten May 16, 2024
- HCM93Perth, Australia91 contributionsUnexpected street of artisan outlets. Quality goods and excellent coffee. Quiet and pretty, this little neighbourhood is worth discovering if you are interested in galleries, quality crafts and intimate little businesses. Central in the city it’s a short walk or tuk tuk away from the frenetic market buz. Opens at 10 am but shops maybe later.Visited February 2025Traveled as a coupleWritten February 7, 2025
- Linda M2 contributionsLovely little shopping street. Classy gifts and handicrafts but at reasonable prices. Some great cafes, especially for vegan & vegetarian - Little Red Fox and Village Bakwry were both great.Visited March 2025Traveled with friendsWritten March 22, 2025

After reading the brochure, I was excited to check out the boutique shops and restaurants here. My driver dropped me one evening at 7 PM and there was absolutely no one on the streets, Most of the store were closed — like a ghost town so I did not even stay as there was nothing to see / do. Not a holiday and not “early” according to everything else in the area. It was very sad to see.

Beautiful little alley with many unique boutiques, workshops, bakery and coffeeshop. We stumbled across it as we googled for Louise Loubatieres and found ourselves in this alley - bought nice jewelry at LL, a beautiful leather purse at DSK, delicious cinnamon rolls from The Village Bakery and great coffee at The Little Red Fox!
You can either just stroll through the shops or spend more time here by enjoying coffee and food.
For us a must see place if you like local/unique artisans.
Make sure you grab a little booklet of the village with all shop owners and info.

Absolutely loved it here, what a find! Shops and owners are all absolutely lovely, very helpful and not pushy at all. They let you browse and answer any questions. The street is quiet and lovely to wander around. Loved the street art on Coconut Alley. It is a little more pricey than other places in Siem Reap but your paying for the customer service and nice products. Only negative I would point out was that no one in our hotel or any tuk tuk drivers seemed to know where it was - we got dropped off on a random street but managed to find it from Google Maps and walk there.

This is a small street full of Independent retailers offering someone different from a Cambodian market. It is upscale, hassle free, our morning here was relaxed growing the shops and meeting the friendly shop keepers who gave us recommendations for restaurants and other attractions. There are places to eat and great coffee on hand. Even a professional spa which does not welcome ‘sex tourists’. Worth a visit if you want someone a little more up market.

Interesting small area quite near to Pub Street. There’s some good up market shops and cafe. Seems that this area is an expatriate residential and frequented by foreigners. Nice place for a change. Khmer breakfast is good but once soon a while I need some eggs, bacon and bread too. 😊😊

There’s quality and then there’s just those stores for the guiible with price tags to match. The market was in a tiny street with about 10 -12 shops which wasn’t worth the effort we went to just to find it. For example Amok spice mix for one curry was quoted as $6 USD. Typical scarves you can buy anywhere ridiculously priced. Made in Cambodia Market ran rings around it in my opinion. However, if this is your thing then you should go. Definitely not our thing!

It's 1 street with about 25 shops/ cafés. Mostly home interior and design stuff. Certainly worth a visit if you're in the vicinity. It's very different from the rest of the shops and markets in Siem Reap. You may be done in 5-15 minutes, though.

Learned about Kandal (middle) Village from our hotel. It has a cute little brochure with a map of the attractions. We strolled down the street and my friend and I seemed to buy a little something at each store. Most of the time, the owners were the sellers! We bought jewelry, scarves, a lacquerware tray and my husband even bought a hat. This was easy and fun shopping. Good value too.

You will want to check out Kandal Village if you come to Siem Reap. Shops r upmkt & u get to buy better quality products. Most r soical enterprises.
DSK a leather shop with reasonable pricing. We bought quite a lot of products fr them as their leather is of gd quality. And for additional $1 u get yr name embossed.
There is a shop w/o name, they sell handmade sofa throw, shawl, etc made by the villages women.
Cafe The Little Red Fox that serve gd coffee & latte.
Nice place to stroll too.
