We have used Saron twice for guided walking around Angkor Wat temples, and also Tonle Sap lake. He is really knowledgeable, including the history, explanation of carved panels and how to avoid the worst of the crowds. He can tailor the itinerary to match energy levels and time available, including getting off the beaten track. For an English speaking guide who is charming company and really knows his stuff, look no further.

I traveled to Siem Reap on two separate occasions and used Saron borh times. He didnt disappoint on either occasion. If you're lookng for a guide that's personable, is flexible to your schedule and knows Siem Reap and the temples like nobody's business, look no further. Saron knows many details about the temples and can speak to their background and history. I especially loved when he woukd ask us to sit down, so he could tell us a story or two. He even helped me navigate the climb up and down rhe temples to make sure no injury was suffered on his watch. He and his driver were prompt and carried plenty of bottled water in theair conditioned SUV, which was unbelievably welcomed coming in from the Cambodia heat. I can't say enough good words about him. You should seek him out. You wont be disappointed

My cousin had saron as a tour guide and recommended him to me when I traveled to Cambodia by myself. He was very kind, respectful and knowledgeable. He keeps waters available if you need it and will take you to good places to support local business. And yes, everything ran smoothly, our driver was always waiting to take us to the next stop and he picked the perfect times/places to get lunch. There are so many temples to see and he picked some of the most impressive ones to take me to for our limited time. I learned so much about the stories and history that the temple art is based on as well as about the plants/animals and wildlife in the area (he also showed me a gecko with her eggs, an underground behave, and a plant that is sensitive to touch). Also he’s very good at showing you the best views of the temple and helped me take lots of nice photos.

My sister used Saron’s guide services and she recommended me to him. Definitely no hiccups and the trip was perfectly planned out. We joined Saron’s 2 day tour recently and he arranged not just the pick up from our hotel on the two days of the actual temple tours but also driver from and to the airport on arrive and departure days. Saron speaks very good English which makes the story and history telling very easy to absorb. Thank you Saron for the perfect trip! Highly recommended.

We were recommended Saron by a friend and we had an amazing tour to Siem Reap. We booked Saron for 3 days, and wanted a variety of sights to see (not just temples) as we have a teen & pre-teen boys. Saron was informative, and knows so many facts! He took interest in the boys and made an effort to keep them entertained, pointing out different aspects of Cambodian life and nature. He created an itinerary with my requested sights, and then recommended a few more to fill in the time. He and his driver (Boun) were flexible and happy to change any aspect of the itinerary at a moment's notice. When my son lost an expensive item, Saron & Boun went out of their way to try and locate it (by phoning various guides he had seen in the area & driving to nearby restaurants to speak to more guides). We had no luck, but we were highly appreciative of their effort. We had initially planned on hiring a tuk tuk to take us around, but given the heat, it made for a more enjoyable day when we would return to our van after each stop, and Boun would supply us with ice cold refresher towels and bottled water.
