Two friends of us recommend this guy to us. The Stuff in the Cashewnut Villa know him and managed it to make an appointment.
He is absolutely flexible, speaks English very well and know a lot about the Temples and informated us in a really nice and funny way. No matter what you are looking for, he will serve it at its best.
During our ride he prepared Cambodian Breakfast for us, always cool water and fresh fruit.
Thank you!

Mr. Why Not was one of the biggest on our 3 weeks trip in Cambodia. We try his services.. Small Circuit without high expectations. He always came 30 minutes earlier than the pickup hour.
He was always very nice with us, he tried his best to explain the history of Angkor ancient city and cambodians life.
Before we started the tour, he asked us if we want to do the normal tour with the crowds or if we want to beat the crowds, to do it in reverse. Of course we wanted to do it in reverse and we take some amazing pictures, without so many people.
He is always prepared to make you a happy day. Cold water and beer!
After the small circuit, we hired his services for another 3 days.. To beng mealea, floating village and countryside tours.
If you don't want to be ripped off and if you want to know some history from a real cambodian and to understand the real countryside life, choose Mr. WHY NOT!

I chose Mr Why Not after reading a good review of him online and he lived up to the review completely. I was traveling alone and Mr. Why Not was great for talking to all day while we drove around to the different temples and sights around Siem Reap. He was always there with a cold water or beer and even fruit that he cut up himself. He took me to shady places to cool down before going to the next place when it was too hot in the middle of the day. He really made my trip to Siem Reap memorable and I would recommend specifically choosing Mr. Why Not as tour guide through the temples. He gave me a great first impression of Cambodia.

Hello Mr. Why Not. We are so sorry about the late feedback. When we leaved Angkor, Sandra felt very sick. So we needed to break up our trip and we went back to Germany. But now it is everything ok.
Thank You so much for the very interesting sight seeing in Angkor with the delicious breakfast and so many informations. You are the best Guide we found on our trip!!!
Kind regards from Hendrik, Sandra and Milian.

Waiting for mr. Why-not to pick me up for my last day of temple sightseeing, and just want to add to the other recommendations - there is no doubt that there is no others like him in Siem Reap. He has thought of everything- down to the refreshing wet wipes you get when you come back from climbing the temples. He brings different snacks and fruit as well as water and a book over the temples and will bend over backwards to make sure you have the best day giving tips on what too see when to beat the crowds.
No matter if you travel as a small group, alone or as a family with small kids this is the guy to contact!

Mr. Why not took us to different temples in the span of two days. His knowledge accumulated over 17 years as a tuk tuk guide in Angkor shined through his well planned out days. He was so considerate and funny and we really felt like we got the best tour. He made a plan, informed us of it but was also very welcoming to input, depending on our preferences.
We had breakfast, coffee breakes and fun anecdotes in between the temple visits.
We recommend him to everyone going to visit Angkor.
We will remember him as much as we will remember the breathtaking, historical sights. The experience would not have been the same with anyone else!
Best wishes to him and you touring around Siem Reap with him. You won’t regret it!

We had a three day pass to Angkor Wat and Mr. WhyNot was our driver and guide. He made a great plan for our visit to the different sites, was very engaged and know a lot. He served breakfast, fruit, water and even coffee and tea in hos tuk-tuk.
Mr. WhyNot really wants to give his customers the best experience possible and he lives fully up to it.
We give Mr. WhyNot our warmest recomendations. He is a very kind and comitted guide. We felt very well taken care of.
A trip with Mr. WhyNot is an experience in itself that shouldn’t miss out on:)

I really had 3 very enjoyable and informative days with Rith. I thank him very much for all his culture. All I needed to know, he told me. It is a veritable mine of information on this magnificent site, the construction of the different temples, the materials used, the different periods, etc. I was greatly delighted by his extreme kindness, always smiling and little stingy with different and varied anecdotes. In addition, Rith organizes its tour of the temples in the opposite direction of the classic tours, which often avoids the crowd of many tourists. He provided me throughout the three days of what to eat: pineapple, jackfruit, beer, etc. Finally, the price is not exorbitant. In fact, the service is first rate, I think the evaluations published before me attest.
I highly recommend to anyone who goes through Siem Reap, they will be really lucky!
I do not know if I'll come back one day, but no doubt if that's the case, I'll be back in this beautiful jungle with Rith to the discovery of temples forgotten crowds or remote, difficult to access!

We arrived in Siem Riep and spoke to the hostel staff about all the things we wanted to see in the few days we had. They immediately called to see if Rith (aka Mr. Why Not) was available to show us around, and lucky for us, he was! We were extremely fortunate to have such a safe, funny, kind, and accomodating driver to suggest the best places to see at the best times, and to go above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and making the most of our visit. We even asked him to go off the beaten path and take us to a remote temple in the forest, to where no tuk tuk has gone before, and this was his response: "Why not?!?" He provided honest answers to all our questions about past and current life in Cambodia, the drastic changes that the country is experiencing, and he had us laughing all the time with his stories. After three days with Mr. Why Not, we are happy to call him a dear friend and would highly recommend that anyone on vacation in Siem Riep reach out to him and make your Cambodian experience amazing!

On our first day of temple hopping at Angkor, we took a group tour. The next day we wanted a cheaper deal to see the lesser known temples, so we took Mr. Why Not. He is truly an excellent guide. Throughout the day, he handed us cold bottles of water, ice cold towels, pineapple, and coconut water. These were all greatly appreciated in the extremely hot weather.
He let us stop to take photos of Cambodians fishing - a really cool site; they were fully submerged in the water and throwing out huge nets. He then explained the process to us. He also had a lot of knowledge regarding the temples.
It was a beautiful day - actually my favourite day in Siem Reap. On the way to the temples we got off the beaten path in which we rode along the countryside and experienced a very nice breeze. Mr. Why Not makes excellent company, has great insight, and is a very accommodating and considerate guide. He is ready to joke around with you and ensure that you have an incredible day.
Why not book with Mr. Why Not?
