About
Hello! I am Lee, owner of Trusty TukTuk. I am a friendly driver and tour guide in my home town of Siem Reap. I speak fluent English and Have knowledge as professional tour guide and driver since 2006, so I have great knowledge and experience in giving tours. On a tour with me, I can make sure you beat the crowds and see the best sights at the right times. I am flexible, reliable and can show you more about modern life in Cambodia like local food, drink and daily lives of our people. During 2006, I was studying in high school and working as a motorbike driver to earn money to study. Early that year I met Mr Frank from The Netherlands, he donated a second hand tuktuk to me so I have been working as a tuktuk driver since then. My service is flexible and I can pick you up and drop you off anywhere you like. I have cold water in the tuktuk if you need it. Finally I would like to thank you for reading my story and I wish to hear from you soon. Thank you very much! Lee.

TLDR: Lee must be one of the best, if not the best, driver in Siem Reap, and he is one of the happiest, most personally life-satisfied people I have ever had the pleasure to get to know.
Our family of 4 was treated with tremendous care and respect during 5 days of temple and mountain visits, plus trips to the circus and local restaurants. We travel a lot, and everything Lee did for us was simply perfect and we highly recommend his services.
From cold towels to refresh us, icy cold water to hydrate us, and endless information about Cambodia, its culture, and its people to educate us, Lee provided everything we asked for and more.
Now more details for those who, like me, like to read. I don’t generally leave reviews, but the experience we had with Lee was so amazing that I feel compelled to leave one here.
I first learned about Lee through Reddit, which led me to his website, and his story simply entranced me. His story was humble, full of gratitude, and inspiring, so I decided that my family and I had to meet him.
I reached out to him via WhatsApp, and he responded a couple hours later. I told him what we were looking for, and he proposed a schedule and daily itinerary and offered a very reasonable price, and we made a plan (which he was happy to adjust later on the fly).
Our kids are 12 and 15, and we took them out of traditional school for a year to travel and to “world school” them. Because our family has had a lot of luck in life, it was important to me to travel to some places where ordinary people’s lives are harder, where things we take for granted in the United States are luxuries, where kids our kids age are often forced to make life choices that so far, our kids have been spared.
I figured that while anyone could drive us to temples, someone with Lee’s story could be a great life example to my kids, where they could have a front row seat to another human’s lived experience that was so different from theirs.
My expectations were wildly exceeded. Lee not only provided us with top notch service, attention, and flexibility at a very fair price, but also with honest answers to all our questions about Cambodia, both academic ones about the temples and Khmer history, and also experiential ones about what it was like to grow up in Cambodia, post Khmer Rouge and during the civil war that followed.
Lee will tell you that “he’s not a guide,” but we found the information and stories he told us (at our request) to be just as good, and often better, than some of the information we got from a licensed guide (which Lee set up for us, at our request).
If anyone out there has any other questions, please reach out to Lee via WhatsApp and ask him for Andy Preas’ number and I’ll be glad to tell you more.

We booked all our tours with Lee and he put us in touch with Paul, who was our private guide for two days! Everything was amazing, custom-organized and totally flexible. Paul was super respectful and attentive, he even made different stops so we could try typical Cambodian food and teach us more about his culture. Both tours, the visit to Angkor Wat for sunrise and the stop at the floating village are highly recommended! Lee also helped us coordinate the transfer to the airport for a very good price! Thank you both for this excellent experience and helping us have an unforgettable memory of Cambodia!

Our experience with Lee was delightful. As first-time visitors to Siem Reap, he helped us plan our itinerary, covering several places within 3 days including Angkor Wat, Bayon Temple, Ta Prohm and Tonle Sap Lake and ensuring we visited all the must-see attractions without feeling rushed. The tour guide and driver he recommended to us were top-notch. They were friendly, informative, and made our experience unforgettable. If you're planning a trip to Siem Reap, I highly recommend reaching out to Lee.

I found Lee’s contact info on Reddit and he was very easy to coordinate and plan out my limited three days in Siem Reap to see Angkor. My two day private tuk tuk tour with tour guide Tom (not Lee, Lee manages a team of tour guides) was seamless - on time pickup, and very considerate. He shared knowledge of Angkor, the temples, and Cambodia while allowing me free time to independently explore the temples. I wanted a casual approach which this was perfect for. Lee also coordinated my airport pickup and drop off - both punctual and good rates as well ($30 each way + tip).

We booked a private remorque driver for 3 days of visit around the Angkor Wat area. During the booking, Lee, the owner of Trusty Tuk Tuk was responsive. Since we booked at the last minute, Lee wasn't available himself but he sent Art to be our driver. We could not be happier with the service that we received. Art was waiting for us every morning in front of our hotel, he took us to visit the places that we agreed to as part of the 3 day package plus a couple of places that we asked him to. Art was always friendly and drove safely. He also had a cooler with plenty of cold water available every time that we needed it. We highly recommend the well-named Trusty Tuk Tuk team.

I used Lee as I seen him advertised on Reddit. Enlisted his services for a day trip to Mount Kulen on short notice. It was good with a very comfortable van and he gave us cold waters also.
Lee also provided us with a TukTuk driver for 2 days for the main Angkor Wat loops, arriving promptly on-time just before 4:30am in the morning on Day 1 and 7:30am sharp on Day 2.
His services are professional, on-time and he also will converse with you about Cambodia as a country, history, politics, development etc to give you a wider idea of the nation so you are informed.

Lee and his friends provide amazing Angkor Wat and Siem Reap tour services. Lee worked with me beforehand to create the best tour route for my schedule and times and had great suggestions. I toured Angkor Wat with both Art (Lee's friend) and Lee for a day each and it was very professional, on time and tailored to our likes and interests. They picked me up from the hotel at the agreed upon time in well conditioned tuktuk (and for second day car) and took me on a route that avoided crowds. They are very knowledgable, easy going and sweet people that kept us engaged in conversations. Mr Lee was also flexible enough to take us to Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary (the one that is further off) on one of the days, again in a very comfortable car.
The 3 days went by quickly and without a hitch. I highly recommend Art and Lee. They go the extra mile to make your Siem Reap tour comfortable

We found Lee's website after watching a YouTube channel recommending him as a very good tour provider in Siem Reap. And yes we're so gladful to consider that and took Lee's service. He's very friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly, he somehow knew our expectations and exceeding it 😅😂... So, here's the verdict: we got the best spots during our trip, we saw lesser crowd (as he really know the best timing to visit each spot including avoiding big groups itinerary) and the food recommendation were awesome! He even managed to get us local price in local Khmer restaurant 😅
We took a three days trip to explore Angkor Wat park (lots of temple, prepare your legs 😂) and also floating village (this one you shouldn't miss). Three days were super well spent, so I would recommend him if you're in Siem Reap and wanted to explore the best part of this province. Indeed, he deserves his name as Trusty TukTuk

Lee was absolutely amazing. He picked us up from Banlung, damn near across the country, and drove us to Siem Reap. Once we got there, he guided us for 3 days through many different temples and unique locations. He knew all the secret ways to get around, and showed us things in a way thay no other tour groups seemed to experience. If any of my friends ever visit Cambodia, he is the first and only contact I would recommend to them for a tour guide. Thank you so much Lee! The photo attached is proof of how good he is. He made sure we were at the very front at Angkor Wat so I could get my camera set up and capture the sunrise.

Sokly linked us up with Cham Reun for a sunrise ride to Angkor Wat and other stops including victory gate, Ta Prohm, Bayon.
Absolutely incredible! Driver was knowledgeable and acted as a sort of guide, great price, would strongly recommend anyone for a one day tour :)
