My husband and I have spent 5 days touring North-Western Cambodia with Sokra, including visits to Sambor Prei Kuk, Preah Vihear, Banteay Chhmar and the floating village of Kampong Khleang.
Right from the start I had the impression that I'm dealing with a professional tour operator, who offered an itinerary tailored to our needs, maximizing our experience by adding extras like a traditional music performance in Banteay Chhmar. Also he was very flexible to change the itinerary at a very short notice when we decided to add Sambor Prei Kuk only a couple of days before the start of the tour.
Sokra is a very friendly and polite person, and someone one really enjoys spending time with and talking to, which is very important during long drives. His English is excellent, the absolute best we have encountered during our stay in Cambodia. Whilst he is officially a driver, not a guide, he has offered invaluable information about the country during the trip.
The tour was absolutely smooth, everything was as perfect as it can be. The car was very comfortable, which is important for long drives. Sokra was always there for us waiting with cold water and towels when coming back from temple or other visits. Everything was organized perfectly well and we felt like we are in good hands during the entire duration of the tour.
We hope to return to Cambodia someday and discover the North-Eastern parts of the country together with Sokra.

Sokra was the best driver/guide/host I have had in over 30 years of travel.
From our first online contact, he made subtle recommendations to enhance our 6 day itinerary with his private taxi service. His van was immaculate and reliable and his driving is cautious and safe.
On the road he made recommendations for restaurants, activities, guides and more. When we requested not to eat at tourist restaurants he quickly adjusted and we enjoyed eating authentic regional specialties with the locals in restaurants, markets and roadside stalls. My favourite part was the long conversations (instigated by me) about Cambodian history, culture, politics, family and business which gave me more insight about Cambodia than any website or guide book ever could.
Our original 6 day itinerary ended in Siem Reap where we extended our time with Sokra to visit Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. Once again Sokra designed the perfect itinerary and engaging guides that were knowledgeable and fun. A highlight was visiting the Banteay Srei (Ladies temple) at first light and being the only ones there - a magical experience!!

We went for a 2-days trip with Sokra's car from Siem Reap to Sambor Prei Kuk temples, Kampong Thom and then Phnom Penh. After browsing on google and reaching many car agencies, it was the most affordable private car service we found, and yet the best service we experienced in Cambodia. Sokra provided us with a free baby car seat as requested, he always made sure to departing on time, and he drove very safely and smoothly. Last but not least, he was also very friendly and taught us many things about Cambodian culture and people. 5-stars driving service for very affordable price.

I booked a private transfer from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh because I wanted to see more of Cambodia than I would have by simply flying. What a great choice.
Mr. Sokra communicated with me before the car ride and answered all my questions. The driver, Mr. Daro, was very punctual and drove very carefully and safely. The trip included a visit to the floating village, an ancient dragon bridge, and the temples of Sambor Prei Kuk, a site even older than Angkor Wat. It was an amazing journey. Mr. Daro was very accommodating and also very knowledgeable about all the places we visited and answered all our questions about the local history. He acted like a driver and a tour guide at the same time. My family and I had a wonderful time. I recommend this to everyone for your itinerary!

We spent 5 days with Sokra and he went above and beyond in every way. He was extremely flexible with the timing and activities to accommodate our 6 year old, he was thoughtful in every detail, and took time to explain where we were going and what we would be doing. Every aspect of his work is exceptional and he pays attention to all of the small details to make sure his guests are comfortable and happy.
This was our second time with Sokra and he really is an amazing guide of both the sights, but also the deeper history of Cambodia as well. We enjoyed our time with him so much and will look forward to our next visit to Cambodia when we can meet him again. If you're thinking about booking a driver in Cambodia, we highly recommend Sokra!

Sokra was our driver in Siem Reap for two days. He is super friendly, very flexible and customer-oriented in fulfilling our wishes during our tour or giving some advices.
During our time with him, we had lots of fun and some good talks - also due to his good English speaking skills.
Above all, he even supported us with an extra request to fetch some of our travel documents for us - meaning he is a very reliable and trustworthy person.

We now live in Cambodia and have been using Sokra for years, most recently in Siem Reap for Khmer new year (last week). Sokra is a thoughtful, kind, caring, warm and wonderful person. He always goes beyond what is necessary (from bringing water and fruit, to telling you about the culture in the Kingdom of Wonder).
As a guide, Sokra allows you to make decisions about what you want to do and informs these with his vast knowledge of the country and its beautiful attractions. His humour and charm are endearing, his English brilliant and his flexibility and honesty always shine through.
As a driver, Sokra is as safe as they come. Never speeding and never taking risks (unlike so many Cambodian drivers). You always feel safe, calm and relaxed in his car.
Sokra is a truly amazing guy that you'll easily connect to and quickly trust. If you're looking for someone to make your holiday especially memorable, do not hesitate to book him. Just get there, before we do!

Sokra was our tour driver for 5 days in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, he was very attentive and provided excellent services. He was also very flexible and gave very good recommendation on places of interest and restaurants. He engaged us well along the journey and also shared much about Cambodian lifestyle and culture.

I booked an Angkor Wat tour for an English speaking driver in an AC car. Mr Sok handled the bookings and was excellent in providing the necessary information and promptly confirming the booking which we made just the evening before our tour. His driver, Mr Kim Yin was very professional and took us to the key sites, a good restaurant and gave good valuable information almost like a guide. He ensured we had cold water from his cooler after every stop and we had sufficient breaks. Their pricing is also reasonable and comparable to other companies. Would strongly recommend.

We spent a wonderful 15 days with Sokra in Cambodia. Part of it was done by mini bus, part by tuk-tuk. He knows all the temples in and around Angkor and during our travels he was always eager to learn something new. We also did trips to Koh Ker, Banteay Chhmar, Preah Vihear, Sambor Prey Kuk and Preah Khan Kampong Svay. In some of these places he also found excellent local guides for us.
We highly recommend Sokra to anyone who intends to spend a great time in Cambodia. He is a careful driver, a good person to organize your trips, very knowledgable, reliable und a good companion. His English is very good, which makes communication easy. It is very easy to contact him via WhatsApp. So don‘t hesitate and start planning your vacation with Sokra. You will not regret it.

Day-2 (3rd-May): See sunrise over Angkor Wat + Angkor Thom, Bayon, Terrace of the Elephants, Royal Palace Group + some more temples in mini circle.
Day-3 (4th-May): Visit Jungle temple Ta Prohm + Lady temple Banteay Srei + Banteay Somre + Kbal Spean and Landmine museum.
Day-4 (5th-May): Kampong Kleang stilts house and floating village + Silk Farm + Handicraft places.

Hello. There are two of us and we would like to find the cost of pickup in the afternoon and then a visit to the main Angkor Wat temple. Second Day -- important temples and sunset. Third Day -- Banteay Srei and surroundings and any temples we missed on day 2. Forth day -- transfer to bus station or airport. Also travel to lunches and dinners. Please let us know what the cost would be. this would be from Nov. 3-6.
