We had a great stay in Siem Reap. Our guide Ty Loun and driver Visal picked us up at the airport. Ty is a very pleasant guy and an awesome guide. From tipping us on excellent restaurant and local sights to sharing his impressive knowledge on cambodian culture and history in general, as well as the history behind the amazing temples. Ty showed us to the most interresting views and marvelous sights and helped us taking the most memorable photos for this trip. We had a great time here and will definitely recommend asking for Ty Loun as your guide when visiting Siem Reap. And You really should visit Cambodja, it is an awesome country. The people are so very open and kind. Thank you so much Ty for your part in making this an awesome experience for us, Thank you Visal for always being on time and for providing a smooth & cool ride. We really enjoyed it.

Our guide arrived spot on time with a comfortable vehicle and driver. He was knowledgeable and affable. The tour around the temples starting with sunrise behind Angkor Wat was amazing and we were totally satisfied in every respect. Well worth taking this tour with tripadvisor.

If going to visit Siem Reap and temples do not hesitate to hire Jimmy. He is in the page. He has an excellent car. He drives you around from the moment you arrive till the moment you leave. He takes you to the temples , shopping , recommends really good restaurants , even gets you tickets for the shows in Siem Reap. He is a great human being. Very pleasant. His english is good. He also has a guide training. He can take you around the temples with precise information. He is clear. Not heavy !! I recommend him highly !!!

This trip to Angkor Wat was a bucket-list item for me and it lived up to the hype! My brother and I went in January...great time to go. Dry season meant the flowers weren't so great, but the lower humidity and temperature were nice! Our guide was very accommodating and led us for 2 days. He was prompt, courteous and a wealth of knowledge...history first day, art the second. Sunrise was beautiful but be prepared for gauntlets of vendors hawking their wares! Dress respectfully with good walking shoes. Each temple had added stairs and handrails which allowed me to explore even with my iffy knees. Because of the size of the complex and amount of temples, sometimes I felt rushed, but our group kind of watched out for each other and would nicely get everyone together when we changed venues. I especially enjoyed the second day, as our group was only 4 people and we went to temples that were less crowded. We had great lunches (not included) on the tour and you could get drinks/snacks from vendors. Don't forget to tip the handicapped musicians who add musical atmosphere to the tour! This is a trip not to be missed!

I went to ankor watt with a guide , I booked thru my hotel.it was extremely humid out.it's quite alot of walking, climbing stairs, etc.it was interesting to hear the temples were hindu, but then converted to budism.they were huge inside. It was hard to imagine what they used to look like, when being used.lots of banyon trees, big roots everywhere. It could be a spooky place.i would not recommend going there alone.we went thru 3 temples, and it took 5 hrs.my really nice guide took lots of pictures of me there.tomb raider was filmed there.i think my guide said the temples went on for 20 miles.there are so many small carvings in the stone, which all represent something ...it is a UNESCO world heritage site.the french were doing some repair work but now the germans are doing it.a must see place.loved it.my friend went when it was raining.be sure to wear proper clothing.covered shoulders, long pants.,they are temples.i did get a blessing from a monk, which was interesting.
