Just be careful on all African beaches. Often out of view and can be seen as fair targets. Not saying “don’t go” but just be wise. I love Benin so I am not running it’s beaches down. But we are not in the West.

We arrived about 12 and the bar/ club was empty. Apparently people arrive about 4 pm. Looked like it might be fun. Beach supporting clean

This beach is located opposite the US embassy and I guess that's why it's called the "Obama" beach". It's a fun place to spend the day with the children. I suggest that you visit the beach early and leave before it gets crowded.

It wasn't spectacular in my opinion, but it was clean in comparison to most of the beaches I've been. My date had more fun taking pictures, it was just okay to me.
