I knew what this museum was about (religious artifacts that were confiscated), so I was not disappointed on that. However, I expected more information about the customs control (there is a small room at the entrance), and the history behind the objects that were taken....More

The name is very tempting, but the content of the museum does not cause delight. The museum displays pieces of art confiscated by Brest customs officers while trying to illegally export them abroad. really nothing special, but in Belarus there's only one museum with such...More

The museum can use some English signage. Not too much is in display but it's worth checking out door an hour wondering how the heck smugglers even attempted to move some of those items.

a bit of a disappointment tbh, a pot pourri of stuff - paintings,stuffed animals, pottery - on display but it won't take too long to get around

The only museum by the Brest Fortress complex open on a Monday. Its interesting to see these old houses which are well-preserved but variety is limited and my interest span only lasted a short time.

This small museum is interesting, but signed only in Belarusian and contains mostly icons. Visit needs only 15 minutes.
