This consignment gallery is on Rte 101A in a tony neighborhood, so all the rich people sell their furniture here. And some of it is gorgeous! They have beautiful wooden pieces and some gorgeous upholstered chairs and sofas. It is absolutely worth a visit.

We frequent the Bedford Consignment Gallery often. We have found some extraordinary pieces including a gorgeous Stickly dining room set. Keep your eyes peeled, you never know what you'll come across.

Parking not an issue
Everything was set up very well
Did not find what I was looking for and it was hard to find anyone to help me.
Yes I'd go back. It is fun to just browse around.
I have never sold anything her but my daughter has and she was very pleased.

I recently visited the Consignment Gallery in Bedford, NH. I had a rather unpleasant experience. I have made a number of purchases over the past two years and although I have found interesting items I always left with the feeling they thought they just did me a favor. The staff at best convey an "elitest" unhelpful attitude. Today, I realized I should have trusted my gut. By accident, I knocked over a $14 item that probably should not have been on a glass countertop if it was in fact so delicate. The saleswoman was clearly putout and immediately said, you are paying for it. Never asking are you okay? Did you cut yourself? I had a number of items at the counter which I intended to purchase. When I went to pay for the items the manager automatically added the broken item to my tab. I said look it was an accident. If it was so fragile it should have been in a case. He flatly retorted the consigner needs to get paid. I paid for the broken item which they pocked $7. I will never return to this establishment. It is clear the employees lack baseline customer service and are extremely short sighted. Enter at your own peril. Three thumbs down!

The shop has a "good" reputation however the shop had very little inventory and most of it seemed to be from a commercial consign or or from a hotel renovation. Not a place I'd stop at again.

This is a great place to find affordable furniture and dishes, etc. I've found some amazing costume jewellery too. If I'm feeling pinched financially, I still enjoy strolling through and getting ideas for decorating. Like all consignment places, the best approach is going often. Some weeks you won't find anything; other weeks it is an embarrassment of riches. Family owned by very nice folks too.

I check Consignment Gallery often as you never know what new items have arrived. I bought my dining room set with hutch there. I've also bought many items over the years, and am very satisfied. I find the quality and the price can't be beat. They have one store in Amherst, NH, and another in Bedford.

The only reason the consignment shop didn't get 5 * is because their hours are on the short side. There have been times when I've wanted to stop by but they either weren't open yet or had just closed.
They might want to consider extending the hours at least during the nicer weather months.

We visit Consignment Gallery at least 4 times a year, sometimes just to "look & see" and sometime for a targeted purchase. Our best finds have been: an antique armoire that fits perfectly in one of our bedrooms; a solid Ethan Allen table with 4 great chairs; a small wood (malaysian hardwood) table with 4 chairs and 2 wood dining chairs with needlepointed seats. All great deals!
