We came here specifically to see the garden. Beutiful grounds and amazing arcitecture / culture. Not a long visit for us, but would love to come back in the summer. Truley a must stop if driving by, and certainly worth our 2 hour drive.

Walking the garden provides a peaceful opportunity for contemplation. The garden is set in the valley surrounded by pine groves with quotes from Buddha's throughout. Take the time to walk the garden clockwise and respectfully.

This place is really amazing. I didn't count all the statues of Buddha, but it would not surprise me if there were even MORE than one thousand! I particularly liked the koi pond. Although in the mountains, this place is completely flat. No admission is...More

This is a very special place. Everything about the garden is beautifully conceived and designed. It is a quiet, peaceful, inspiring place to visit. Make sure to leave several hours to walk the entire garden, read the quotes and visit the lovely gift shop.
