This theater, located in a small, rural town, is a delight you don't want to miss. The productions are top-notch from various touring companies. There is not a bad seat in the house and you won't find friendlier folks. After the play, stroll the wooden sidewalks and visit the charming stores with delicious foods, treats, and drinks!

While camping at the nearby park, we came to town to eat lunch at the historic Tavern restaurant (so very special and delicious) and asked why we needed reservations to eat there. We were told about the local performance of the Agatha Christie play, "Murder on the Orient Express", one of my favs. We went to the lovely theater to inquire about tickets and they the friendly staff said they just had a cancellation on the FRONT ROW! We grabbed them up ($40 with senior discount), and returned after a short shopping trio on their lovely Main Street.

The performance was sold out and superb! It was a very professional performance and an enjoyable afternoon. We hope to return and be one of the 415 people that still appreciate truly artistic activity in the havoc of this crazy world.

We went to the Lyceum Theatre on the advice of a friend that grew up in a town near Arrow Rock. We definitely will be returning. It makes a great day trip from Kansas City and the acting was superb. The theatre itself is an historical education and was beautifully appointed. There isn't a bad seat in the house and it is intimate enough that you really become engaged from the first moment the curtain goes up! Do yourself a favor and go! While you are there Arrow Rock itself has a lot to do and see.

This play was wonderful. The theatre is not big and any seat is a good seat. There is always different plays every year and most are chosen from guest requests.

We recently attend a production with our grand-kids. At the intermission we were basically asked to leave. The kids were exceptionally good, there was only one time when one child stood up to pick up the program that had fell on the floor. We were told that that was disturbing the actors and causing the performance to be terrible.
We have been long supporters and have seen performances were kids the audience were running, screaming, talking or crying and the staff said that is our future. I just don't understand why our little disturbance deserved this reaction.
The show, Music Man, was very good and I hope this was the opinion of one person and not of the actors/crew. The usher who discussed the situation with us was extremely embarrassed. We are good friends with several people in leadership and plan to have a discussion about this situation when the time is appropriate.
We will NO longer be supporters, or ticket holders. I just hope they can find their old values again!

We specifically went to Arrow Rock to attend the theater. What fun we had. We saw the Will Rogers Follies and I wish we lived close enough to attend all the productions. It is a small theater, so therefore intimate without a bad seat in the house. The production was absolutely awesome.

It surprises me that such professional theater is tucked into this little town in mid Missouri. They can be very proud of it. The lead had performed this role on Broadway for years. I highly recommend the trip. Several charming B&Bs are within walking distance.

We've been attending shows at the 408-seat Lyceum Theater in Arrow Rock for a decade and have never been disappointed. The Broadway quality of every production we've seen consistently delivers the highest quality in drama, comedy, and musical theater. From the acting to the scene design, costume design, and director's vision, each show is professional theater at its best! But get your tickets early because the tix sell out fast!

What a wonderful surprise we had going to this theater. Out in the middle of nowhere in a down called Arrow Rock, population 56 you will find this gem. We went and saw the Christmas Carol which was sold out. I highly recommend this attraction.

Extremely well done. Entertaining and very tight acting. Every show is an experience. We have had tickets for years and have never seen a bad show.
