We visited the Hormel Historic House after a visit to the Spam museum, which is within walking distance. The staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. The home was nice to walk through. It’s not big so doesn’t take too long. There was a $5 entrance fee.

The young lady that spoke about the history of the house was so friendly. It is a self tour with guide to each room. The event area can host various venues. The Peace Garden is lovely. Great place for weddings and/or receptions.

My nephews wedding was at the event center attached to the Hormel House so we were able to tour the home since they used the house to get ready for the wedding. What a beautifully restored and cared for historic house. The house is set up well for taking a self tour with a lot of information and photos in each room. I definitely recommend a tour of this home.
