The Hormel Historic Home is 4 blocks away from the SPAM museum so my brother and I decided to walk over and see it. Certainly not as fancy nor as large as many historic homes, but well preserved. It's a self-guided tour, using a pamphlet...More

Nice, unique home. Lots of beautiful wood. I've never seen a staircase like the one here and I've been to many house museums. Worth the $5.

Only a few blocks from the SPAM museum you can see the home of the Hormel's. Worth while stop to see the craftsmanship of time gone by. The house show how they lived not as high on the hog (pun) as some lived in east.

I believe the first floor is accessible if you enter through the new conference center. There is no elevator to the second floor.
