I went to the MN Zoo this morning for the first time in about 30 years! I had the day off and since my boyfriend was working second shift we decided to go again since the kids would be back in school. The Zoo is very nice, and it is certainly bigger than I remembered! The animals seemed to be... More

Our family loves going to the zoo. If you are planning to go here, it is best to just get the membership - if you go twice a year you will more than pay for the cost. Generally, the majority of the animals are visible. If you are there during peak times, there are lots of shows and educational opportunities.... More

We took our 6 year old grandson and had a very good day. There are lots of animals, exhibits to see. He explored every nook and cranny of that zoo. It is very clean with natural environments for the animals. The downside....it is pricey with lots of additional high price items, such as drinks, snacks, food. (However, you can bring... More

We had an year pass for the zoo since our kids love the zoo so much, although we are a good 4 hour drive from the cities area, it is the closest bigger zoo. There are a lot of nice features at this zoo - the kids love the splash pad and the play area with the tree house, etc.... More

We were visiting friends in the area and decided to go to the zoo together. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and overall layout of the zoo. The paths are easy to follow and we liked the large natural environment enclosures for the animals. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the price was a good value... More

We visit family every August in Mpls and wanted to do something we hadn't done before. The MN zoo was a good option. It is a good 4hr+ event without doing a lot of shows or demos. New monk seal demo was very educational and well done. Tigers were there but kind of in hiding. Monkey exhibit is the most... More

A really nice zoo, with roomy enclosures. The enclosures are equipped with some tunnels and other devices that allow a unique view of the animals.

A must see when in the Minneapolis area. Two new additions, the Hawaiian monk exhibit and the children's climbing area are great, The Northern Trek are offers a diverse group of animals with the bears being the favorite group.

Took the little guy I'm taking care of during the day here and we had a great time!! The staff is very helpful and friendly, we went first thing in the morning and happily got to meet one of the staff members who is observing the Mother Sloth and her baby. She was sweet enough to answer questions and explain... More
