This statue came from the worlds fair, and is located very close to the Alexandria, MN Museum. Both Big ole and the museum are worth the effort to see. them.

Big Ole is a nice place to get out of the car and take some pics. Restrooms are currently being built at the site.

Great place to stretch your legs and see some lakeside views. The statue is pretty big and makes for a great photo, especially if you’re into Viking culture or just driving I-94 across the state and need a break.

A big big Viking. It remember that US was founded by immigrants and they came from Scandinavian countries. Near to this area you can find a lot of lakes, it’s very nice and beautiful
