The lake is a great place to just sit and read. We all need a day of "down time". I am not a fisherman so instead of fishing, we enjoyed the scenery.

We had a nice fishing trip here over the holiday weekend! The landing on the northwest side of the lake was small and not very much room to park the trailer.

We used to stay at Woodland Resort for the fishing opener and a fall muskie trip during the Carlos Creek grape stomp. Top notch fishing and a top notch resort. Steve and Michelle do an awesome job of taking care of the resort an customers.

What an incredible place! Weekdays in the summer.. Very few boats on the water.. It was like we owned the entire lake. We caught Perch, Bluegill, Rock Bass, and Walleye using leeches. I recommend this lake, for family fishing!

All of the land around the lake is owned by various people. You can fish from the dock at the public landing on the east side. There would be boaters coming and going at times to deal with. Along that shore line there is... More
