Beautiful Lake

We had a nice fishing trip here over the holiday weekend! The landing on the northwest side of the lake was small and not very much room to park the trailer.

We used to stay at Woodland Resort for the fishing opener and a fall muskie trip during the Carlos Creek grape stomp. Top notch fishing and a top notch resort. Steve and Michelle do an awesome job of taking care of the resort an customers.

What an incredible place! Weekdays in the summer.. Very few boats on the water.. It was like we owned the entire lake. We caught Perch, Bluegill, Rock Bass, and Walleye using leeches. I recommend this lake, for family fishing!

I was lucky as a kid! My parents had a cabin on a lake most of my life in the summer. Lake Miltona is not as busy of a lake as the chain of lakes in Alexandria but that's a real bonus! Miltona is about 9 miles long and has great structure if you like to fish. The sandbars are... More

We spend summers on a lake in Minnesota but no summer goes by that we don't visit Lake Miltona. It has everything that is needed for a great time! It's a big lake (over 5000 acres) so there's plenty of space for water sports and fishing in summer (and ice fishing in winter). There are walleye, panfish and pike and... More

The amenities provided at Tip Top Cove Resort were average at best. The resort had more of a clean cabin feeling than a resort. If you're looking for a resort type of feeling this is not the place for you. The beach was small and sad looking. You couldn't fish from the docks or shore as the water levels are... More

We stayed at the Viking Bay Resort on Lake Miltona July 19, 2013 -Everything about this resort is wonderful. The Staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are spotless and spacious, beds are very comfortable, They have a nice gift store where you can pick up a souvenier or if you get cold when you're out in a boat... We stayed at the Woodland resort and had a great week! The lake has a good public boat landing, clear water, lots of space for all lake activities, sandy area where a lot of boat anchor and party.

This is a huge, beautiful lake with excellent fishing. We caught more bass than we could count. The loon population is fun to watch as well as to listen to.
