So peaceful, trails are well marked. The whole time I was there, all I heard was the birds chirping, and the grass moving in the wind. You do have to pay to use. A day pass is $7.

When making a camping spot reservation you have a choice of two campgrounds.White Fox (mowed grounds with sun) vs Big Island (deep woods and shady). We decided to stay at White Fox since mosquito season is in full force. Glad that we did. Mosquitos in...More

So much wild life there. We spotted birds, turtles, even a giant snapper. The best part was at night when 1000s of fireflies came out and joined our camp site.

We decided to stop at Myre-Big Island to break up a long drive, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The park is quite extensive and has well-marked and well-maintained trails through all sorts of terrain - prairie, oak groves, lowlands. Incredible...More

Not sure what you mean by “TV” camping. RV, tent, and horse camping is all done online for any of the Minnesota state parks. Google Minnesota State parks reservations and a link will come up.
