Quality theater for a small town summer night.

Cute place! Very tight seating. Long legs do not fit well on the seats. Also if some one tall is sitting in front of you hope there is an empty seat you can move to. show was ok. The costumes were quite revealing. I was a bit shocked at the women wearing bras and several crotch and bun shots.

I've been going to the barn for over 25 years. I feel spoiled by the quality and rarely enjoy our civic theater because the barn is so amazing. Make sure you reserve a table at the bar for the after show where the apprentices really get to shine.

The Barn Theater has been entertaining patrons for 69 years...is a professional equity theater and training ground for performers, We just returned from the last performance of "Rock of Ages", a great, happy musical sung by well trained, professional voices. The choreography was invigorating and exciting, precise, as good as anything I've seen on Broadway. Never been disappointed at the... More

Went for the first time with a group of 16 people. Its nice to see an old barn used for something instead of rotting away and falling down. Show was very good and the barn was air conditioned and very comfortable.

In existence since 1946, the Barn is truly a throwback to summer theater as it has been produced across the country for generations. With a combination of professional and college level performers, the set-up feels like Mickey and Judy putting on a show in the best sense of the concept. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, they mount 9 fully... More

I attended the opening night performance of Escanaba in Da Moonlight, a farcical tale of an Upper Peninsula deer hunting camp. The performance was quite good, and the storyline very funny. The cast was well suited to the play. If the rest of the season is as good it will be a very good one for the Barn Theater. I... More

I absolutely love seeing plays and musicals here and love the bar shows afterwards! This is the best place to see a performance of any place I've ever been. It's likely the one place I miss since moving out of state. See every show here you can whenever you can!

We go to the Barn multiple times every year and are amazed at the talent. This summer we are planning to go six times. Last night was an outstanding adaption of Mary Poppins featuring many of this year's ensemble in lead roles and some talented guest performers including two pre-teens who starred as the children. Following Mary Poppins is a... More

This place is wonderful. Great theatre, great people. If you are looking for something different on a summer weekend then give the barn a try. Get reservations for the after party show also. It is a musical review in their bar and a great time.

Summers are busy, but 3 trips to the Barn Theatre each summer has always been a must-do for us for many, many years. We enjoy the variety of shows that are offered - from the old standbys to newer productions. Highly recommend.
