The Palace of Auburn Hills has been the home of Detroit Pistons Basketball for years now. We have visited several games throughout the years. It's a very nice facility that sits right on a hill in Auburn Hills, Michigan. You can see it afar off while driving in. Parking was always easy. The staff was always friendly. My son had the opportunity the sing the National Anthem at this particular game. His basketball team was so excited to be on the court with the Pistons. It was Awesome. Unfortunately the Pistons will be relocating to Little Ceasars Arena in downtown Detroit. Good for us, not good for the Palace. I'm not sure if they will continue to hold concerts there or not. We are diffenitly happy about the move closer to home. We will miss the Palace of Auburn Hills. Go Pistons!…

Although the Pistons have moved back downtown, Palace still a solid venue for concerts, etc. Luxury boxes small, but still comfy. Good acoustics. Plenty of good parking. It’s no Little Caesar’s Arena, but it’s still usable.

This venue was closed when the new Little Caesar's Arena was built in downtown Detroit. The Piston's and all concerts normally held at the Palace will now be played in the new arena.

On our drive around in the area today we saw that there was an Auburn Hills Taste Fest at the palace on October 12th. So maybe they're going to use the parking lot for this event. However, I was told that the Palace itself is now closed.

Too bad the palace is having its final concerts this fall it's a wonderful venue to see a concert or Pistons game we've taken the kids there many times for circuses and Disney on Ice
