We went here in September to watch a Riders in the Sky Concert. The volunteers that work the venue were super friendly. We loved that there wasn’t a bad seat in the house. The small intimate venue was the perfect place for the concert.

Intimate experience every time. The acoustics are amazing. Never over-powering. Truly a listening room. While the performer is on stage you could hear a pin drop. The audience is captivated by who's on stage. Sometimes as a added bonus the artist will come out to...More

Our first visit to the Ark was for a Susan Werner concert. Not a bad seat in the house. They served drinks, but you have to buy a club membership for $5.00.

This is one of the best concert stages in the country. Most seats are very close to the performance, making for a strong connection between players and audience. That creates an up close and personal magic for the viewer. The Ark is a legendary theater...More

This was a nice venue & great concert. Most of the people waiting on you are volunteers. You do need to buy a membership to buy alcohol.

No. You have to have a membership to purchase beer or wine and they won't sell you one if you're under 21. Venues in Ann Arbor, being a college town regularly check ID before serving alcohol.

Stairs, yes, but there’s also an elevator. Seats are average width— not particularly crowded.
