We went for my son's 13th bday party - two adults and 5 13 year olds. The staff was AMAZING getting the kids hyped up and prepared. Everyone had an amazing time and absolutely loved it. We have done A LOT of escape rooms, and DECODE rooms are the best BY FAR. It is worth the price.

It was REALLY well done and fun!!! It was one the best I have been to so far. Everything about it was done well, the puzzles, the decorations the room set ups. I would definitely go again, you could probably do the same one 5 times and still have a different experience each time.

We recently brought a group of 30 people from a local business to Decode Ann Arbor for a team building activity and it was a great experience! Janice was quick to respond and very accommodative and helpful with our large group and she helped us identify the best game for us to play. We ended up dividing into two teams and competed to see who could be most successful in the game. Compared to other games that some team members have participated in at other escape room locations, the game that we played was very well organized, interesting, and challenging. Everyone had a great time solving the puzzles and working together. Would definitely recommend for a group of friends or as a team building activity!

We attended as a group of five and did both rooms, Around the World in 80 Days and Paradise Hotel. There were plenty of standalone puzzles to keep the whole group engaged. The rooms were very immersive and had a great combination of puzzle types. The game masters were enthusiastic and also in-theme. Overall a great experience and definitely recommended for groups regardless of skill level.

My group has done quite a few escape rooms and we greatly enjoy them. We are always looking for something different that will challenge us while having a different experience. Around the World was like no room we have ever done before! The way the room was built kept us on our toes and kept us busy with a large variety of puzzles for the full hour. The host was also very kind and helpful and the room was spotlessly clean. I cannot recommend Decode Ann Arbor enough and think newbies and experienced players would have a wonderful time!

The staff was very friendly and committed to our experience. We signed up to play Trouble in Paradise, and the puzzles had a good variety of things they tested like spatial reasoning, pattern recognition, letter/word manipulation, curiosity, etc.. While we were solving the room the building experienced a brief power outage, and because our booking was somewhat interrupted, they invited us to replay the experience free of charge. Through every step of the process, it was evident our enjoyment was at the forefront of their minds.

My daughter and I wanted a birthday party for her where kids wouldn't be on their phones, but there would still be something fun to do. This checked that box, and then some. We had 8 kids, ages 12-14, and they had a BLAST in the "Around the World" room. Won't give any spoilers, but it was perfect for a group of around 8 kids (less than 6 would be tough), and there were smiles, giggles, and cheers all around from start to finish. Highly recommend!

The experience was very fun and the staff was very pleasant and easy to talk to. The host even showed us the answer to one of the puzzles after we were done that we couldn't solve. The escape room was pretty difficult but very fun. Would recommend to anyone for a good night out with friends and family.

I had a great time at Decode Ann Arbor! It was so much fun and the staff was awesome! You can tell that they really enjoy what they have there. Will definitely go back and would highlh recommend to others if you want to go have a great time with friends and/or family!

Great family evening! Family of adults and teens—-all Enjoyed the room. Challenging and well themed. The owners/staff are the kindest people. From when I made the reservation on the phone to arriving—all warm and friendly. You can tell that the owners love their job and care about their patrons. Definitely recommend visiting!
