We love cruising on and around the UM campuses in Ann Arbor. Main Campus is "bookended" by lovely commercial areas with stores, restaurants, bars and other forms of entertainment. South University Street area ("south U") is a very student focused area, while the State Street area morphs from "campusy" to "townie" as you move down Liberty Street toward Main Street... More

This is a large campus so the visit with our high school senior was most of the day long. Since we are not from Michigan, it was confusing to park and find buildings. College student tour guides took large groups around the campus and did their best to answer many questions from parents of prospective students. The informational session for... More

As an alumni, I love returning to Ann Arbor to see how the city and UofM are evolving over the years. So much is still the same and new buildings added and/or renovated. Lots of restaurants near campus or get an ice cream cone for your walk-around.

The University of Michigan is outstanding and has students from around the globe. It is also associated with the National Music Camp in Interlochen, Michigan, where as a counselor there, many years ago, the connection to U of M was part of the learning process of studying to be a counselor.

We always take a walk around the campus when in Ann Arbor. The buildings give you a sense of the place and the design and layout is very pleasant and easy to navigate.

Great place. It deserves the "Big House" title. Great fun. Need to plan to be at the event 2 hours before. Because of the place is so big and expect to be among a massive crowd! Ann Arbor, is great place to be, make a full day plan, great food & lively college town.

Prior to the game, nothing better and more fun than tailgating on one of the golf courses.....morning breakfast on the grill....eggs,bacon,french toast, mohito, bloody mary, or smoothies....or....lunch on the grill....burgers, dogs, brats, chicken, steak and a few adult beverages with the U of M fight song firing up the crowd....what a ball !!!

If you're anywhere near Ann Arbor - it is a must. Trip on into the Art Museum (plan on a long day as there is so much to see), walk about the campus to enjoy the ambiance of college life, stroll through the law quad and rest on one of the benches, SHOP - everywhere and anywhere - EAT -... More
