The University has always been a great one. Slowly, over the years, it has maintained its buildings, and carefully updated and added facilities that have only made the campus better. When I first came, Regents Plaza was a bare concrete, hot place with trees masquerading...More

Great campus in every way! Beautiful academic buildings, dorms, sports facilities, helpful friendly staff and an overall great university atmosphere. Took in a football game on this trip to campus and the Big House did not disappoint. :-)

Took my HS son after almost 30 years. Amazed how many places are still kicking around and how many new (and interesting) architectural gems have been added to central Campus. For my money this is one of the most beautiful, well laid out, vaguely urban,...More

Fall is the best time to visit the University of Michigan campus. The quad is surrounded by huge trees with leaves turning and surrounded by architectural delights. Great atmosphere for a top institution

The campus and supporting area dominate most of the city and suburban area in Ann Arbor. I doubt the city would survive if not for the school. The buildings and facilities are first rate. The grounds are well maintained and very inviting. I understand why...More

This University is amazing! Friendly staff, clean, awesome academics program. The "Big House" does get packed on football game days, especially the night ones! Give extra time on these days as side roads in the residential area get backed up. Many residents hold signs as...More

As a long time season ticket holder I can still be awed walking into the stadium on a football Saturday. It's also fun to witness folks seeing the place for the very first time-110,000 plus people is a significant crowd. Be forewarned that no purses,...More

Hop Cats, Jolly Pumpkin are 2 restaurants I'd highly recommend. We also went golfing at Leslie Park golf course.

If you are up for a drive then I would drive. It is 4 hours from U of M to Chicago and 2 hours from Chicago to Madison.

Uber is not a good idea. It is total gridlock after the game. Would suggest either parking in one of the decks on campus such as at the business school or there are many houses right near the stadium that rent out their... More
