After 16 years of beautiful experiences teaching Spanish as a foreign language we are proud to present you the "Me Gusta" method to learn Spanish. A method that combines Spanish grammar with fun and planned activities to make learning Spanish a rewarding and personalized experience. Either in virtual mode or in face-to-face classes, we guarantee that you will feel that you are really learning.

I started Spanish classes with Me Gusta in March, while coronavirus was starting to kick off so started classes online through Skype. Since then have done about 40hrs of classes with my awesome teacher Becky. Has been lots of fun, plenty of laughs and also learning lots - it has also been a fun activity to break up ISO life too! If you are looking for classes with a structured textbook, clear Spanish without crazy accents at a good price I recommend you take up the classes - you can pay easily online through their website. Can’t wait to get back to Sucre and get to practice everything I’ve learnt!

Fantastico! This Spanish school combines a professional, rigorous approach with an authentic, friendly experience. Our whole family (including kids) took classes here for several weeks, and we were sad when our time ended. The owners were like family during our stay in Sucre. The teachers were great. The new location for the school is also top-- bright, fun, and centrally located. We enjoyed tours of the local market with our teachers, cooking classes in the evening, and cultural events on the weekend.

My girlfriend and I studied for one month at Me Gusta in Sucre. We stayed at Fernando & Elisbeth's place, a lovely family with 4 boys which gave us the great opportunity to practice our Spanish after school. For example, when playing games together or when watching Bob Esponja ;). Because of the Covid-19 situation we went home to Europe but both decided to take a package of 20 classes to continue our studies online. We had classes from Andrea who's a great and very professional Spanish teacher, but also a fantastic person and friend! We highly reccomend to take your Spanish classes from Me Gusta, whether it be in person or online.
Looking forward being back one day in Sucre!

Me Gusta was amazing! My friend and I spent a week in Sucre and learning Spanish at the school made our trip! Thank you to Fernando and Elizabeth for being amazing hosts and organising activities after classes. Also thank you to Andrea, our Spanish teacher for being such a wonderful and patient teacher.
I would also really recommend Hostel Home Away for accommodation, it was very comfortable and well priced.

Me Gusta is both professional and fun.
The owners Elizabeth and Fernando are warm and very accommodating, just lovely people.
After a test I joined the appropiate group to improve my skills. Our teacher Andrea was very structured, never tired of answering questions and challenged us just the right amount. I loved her energy that helped me to be successful.
There are also extra-curricular activities in place to help practice your Spanish and socialise, such as sports or cooking lessons. The building is one of the charming colonial style buildings close to the plaza.
The school also offers clean, affordable accommodation close by “Hostel Home Away”.
We couldn’t ask for more…

I had 5 days a 6 hours privat Spanish class and I loved it. My teacher Yhami was so nice and it was more fun than hard work. In the afternoons we went to museums and markets and she should be the Bolivian lifestyle. I’m very thankful for that, especially because I was traveling for the first time alone and I did not feel alone once. Thank you

My boyfriend and I studied for four weeks at Me Gusta Spanish school. We didn't have previous experience with Spanish so we started from the scratch. We studied 4 hours per day, and did 2 hours of grammar and 2 h of conversations every day. By the end of our stay we had a good basis in Spanish and we will continue our studies online. We stayed at a lovely family with four boys which was a lot of fun, watching movies together and every Friday pizza night. All in all a great experience and we would highly recommend studying at Me Gusta Spanish school.

This is the perfect place to learn some very helpful basics in Spanish. I learnt way more in this 4 months than I learned in 8 years of school French. Elizabeth is an adorable and very patient teacher. i highly recommend her school, wether its online or in Sucre.

We did 5 days of private class at Me Gusta to refresh our Spanish. We really learned a lot in those 5 days! Both our teachers Annie and Mariano were great, they adjusted the classes to our level and gave us new input to improve our spanish. We also got great materials to practice at home.
The only negative thing was that there was no coffee :)

I am an 18 year old female Canadian on a GAP year and arrived in Sucre at the beginning of October with a minimal amount of Spanish. Over the last four months I have taken many Spanish classes in the afternoons at Me Gusta Spanish school. I have had different teachers throughout my time at the school and I have enjoyed the unique teaching styles of each one. The balance of grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking is a very good one and I have developed a lot more confidence in my conversational skills and I have been challenged to take the grammatical concepts that I have learned in the classroom and use them to communicate in my interactions with local Bolivians.
I feel that the teachers at Me Gusta Spanish school prepare their students well, equipping them with common phrases and helpful vocabulary to allow them to begin using their Spanish straight away. Not only are our lessons taught in Spanish but the extra activities that Me Gusta coordinates are also lead in Spanish. Playing Wallieball (a Bolivian form of volleyball that you must try) on Wednesday nights has been my favourite activity that Me Gusta coordinates. Teachers and students come out to play and it is a great social time to practice the language and get some exercise in. There are lots of other activities that Me Gusta Spanish school coordinates including cooking classes, city tours, and other fun activities that vary, depending on the week.
I cannot express how grateful I am to the owners, Fernando and Ellie, and all its great teachers. They have all treated me like family and have helped to make my four months here in Sucre unforgettable. I have been able to make friendships with locals because of my Spanish. For anyone looking for an amazing Spanish school in Sucre, Bolivia whether you have a couple days or four months, Me Gusta is the Spanish school to choose! Thank you! Rachel
