I had 3 weeks of lessons at Me Gusta and loved all my teachers - Carly, Luz, Becky and Jhosmar. The school is very well organized and learning materials excellent. The school organises activities at night which are fun. Sucre is such a beautiful city and I always felt safe there. I also did a Homestay and my host family were so kind and caring and went to a lot of effort to assist my learning. My room was amazing and my family very patient with my basic Spanish. I wish I could of stayed longer ❤️🇧🇴

live and learn Spanish! amazing community to do it all: from just starting out to refining skills to a full immersion and fluency. our family of 4, (2 kids ages 12 and 14) traveled all over South America for 6 months in 2023 and the absolute highlight of our trip was the month we spent with Me Gusta. honored with a family stay that was above and beyond comfortable. treated as family and included in all activities with the school and the family. easy walk to school and main square, lovely cafes and ice cream, local events. VERY SAFE even for our kids to walk on their own. from knowing nothing, in just 3 weeks, both kids absorbed so much they were able to test into advanced Spanish when we returned to the US. Sucre is an incredible small colonial mountain town with a very friendly community. lots of sun and cool nights. Altitude similar to our home in Colorado. beautiful white buildings. Sunday chess in the main square, local markets. so many local trips to explore as well. if you are looking for a place to hang for a little or a long while, this is by far the best around and well worth it. the quality of the education program is stellar and not cookie cutter like the other schools across SA- this is a one of a kind specially created program to learn and speak and live Spanish. morning lesson in the class (we did small group to large group and privates as well) but always included a field trip to a local store/restaurant to practice skills. weekly cooking class (thank you Marleni!) all teachers are highly trained and experienced. thank you to Claudia, Paula, Becky, Andrea, Jhos, and everyone at Me Gusta. we very highly recommend Me Gusta for Spanish school and a family stay. they take such good care of their students, just like family.

Just had a wonderful 3 weeks at Me Gusta Spanish School. Luz and Claudia were fantastic teachers - very patient and dedicated and I have learnt so much. All the other staff were great too and the time went so quickly. I had a Homestay with Marelene and her daughters and felt welcome and at home. Staying with the family definitely helped my Spanish too. The whole experience was exceptional and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Amazing Spanish class! Worked with me to find an appropriate level of Spanish class. Unbeatable price and with amazing teachers who tailored classes to my level and needs. Everyone was so nice and approachable! Highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their Spanish while also having a good time. Also had a great time meeting my classmates and other travelers!
