We arrived mid afternoon to see the church and found it deserted with some construction work going on. The door had no sign on it with opening times and no sign to say we had to knock. We left in the end feeling fairly disappointed.

This hisorical churh and building is lovely. It's best to go in the afternoon after school is finished for the day and take in the views from the roof top of the city.

Excellent church with a very picturesque courtyard and fabulous views of the ‘white city’ from the roof. The highest you can go is one of the two bell towers. Entry was 15 Bolivianos but I think this varies. Self guided.

Beautiful views of Sucre, very neat rooftop area. I also walked around and looked through the class room windows which was cool to see "school life" in Sucre

Amazing views from the mirador at the top. The church itself is small and quaint. A nice place to visit if you have a spare hour or so.

There's no printed guide, so it was nice to go with a teacher from my language school. There a great views from the roof, and interesting paintings of the early fathers, and a very Bolivian Last Supper, with Guinea Pig as the featured dish.

I asked to a vendor at the corner, and she told me that you have to enter through the school next to the church and it is available only from 3pm. I couldn't enter coz of my schedule.
