We walked by this church on a walking tour of Sucre. The white colour and simple architectural lines make it stand out and be noticed. It was unfortunately closed so we couldn't go inside but admired it from the outside. Visiting during Mass times would be best. The area around it is also kept very clean.

We came to Sucre to Easter. Is the most amazing time to visit Sucre.
In San Lazaro Church we arrive at 5pm to go with the locals on an incredible procession on a Easter God Friday.
Is a beautiful moment that I really recommended.
Apart of that the Church is beautiful and with a very nice place a round. Go for a visit.

I found it hard to know when the church was open - I went at 6 pm during a weekday and it was closed but I think trying to go at Mass time is a good strategy.

This is the first church ever built into CD of La Plata what nowadays it's known as Sucre, this church is located in a corner and does not have a central plaza.
