There is a BS15 to visit the church, museum and cloisters, but annoyingly, they will also charge BS5 for photography. Only after you've paid the BS5 do they tell you there's no photography allowed anywhere inside, only of the cloisters and garden. Cheeky to say...More

This is a great museum and what it makes it stand out is the new part of the tour where you can enter the cloistered part of the convent - historically blocked off to outsiders - and see the uncovered wall paintings. It's incredible and...More

The visit of Santa Clara convent was a great surprise for us. The guide was helpful (except for the paintings where he just says what's on the signs) and gave a lot of information about the convent's history. The cloister has beautiful wall paintings that...More

We visited Sta. Clara six years ago. This visit was much more special, after the restoration of the wall paintings in the cloister. You can almost feel the hand of the artisans who painted these lovely scenes.
