A lovely park for a stroll or to sit and watch the locals & tourists

Only several blocks, 5 to 10 min walk form Plaza 25 de Mayo is this nice little park. Great for a stroll or just to sit and watch the people go by.

The park is pleasant. The small Eiffel town is great but scary when the country doesn't have health and safety. The play park next door is a MUST if you have children while in Sucre.

If you go during carnival, or in the weeks leading up to carnviale, be prepared to get wet! It's a tradition to throw water balloons, spray you with water guns, and even dump buckets of water... And if you're a gringo? You're an especially good target! It's all in good fun, until/unless it's not, and if you don't want to... More

Simon Bolivar Park has always been one of my favorite places to go for a walk in Sucre. It's near downtown. And is an easy place to walk doing laps around the park (at 2.600 meters altitude I don't run). However, this time a couple of dogs lose in the park threatened me. They didn't seem to want to bother... More

It is a nice park with its own small version of the Eiffel Tower. It is walking distance from Plaza 25 de Mayo. The gorgeous tall trees make the difference. It is fresh in a hot day. There is an artificial lake but we didn't find the box office to rent a boat.

This is a very nice park, in the description of it you will notice that they wanted to imitate a park in Paris and they even have a small Eiffel Tower (very small really). Also they have little boats to paddle in the artificial lake and street vendors selling typical foods of Bolivia.

Very well laid out park that is used by many locals and understandably so. Done with part of a tour so interesting about the history associated.

A nice park that is walking distance from the main plaza. The park is well kept and great for a stroll. There is lots of street vendors that sell treats that are worth a taste. There's also a cute dinosaur park for children. It's also a peaceful place to sit back and relax! It's worth a visit if you have... More

See the Eiffel Tower in the center of the park. A lovely park near the Supreme Court of Justice--an impressive building.
