Well worth the long long drive across the high desert. Views are incredible. Stayed in Tayka del Deserto for the night, loved it.

We stopped off here on the salt flats tour, and got some great photos of the lake and wildlife. Beautiful area in the desert.

We visited the Laguna as part of our Red Planet tour. The reflections of the volcano in the lake are stunning as you can see 3 differ types of flamingos.

You most likely pass through it on the way to the geisers and then you should stop to admire the huge amount of flamingoes
