I have rated this very good due to the buildings, history, restored art and enthusiasm of our lady guide. However if you go in every room and have an explanation in all of them, the tour lasts about 2 hours which by common agreement amongst...More

Interesting tour, even though quite long (more than two hours) that brings you into the details of the monastic life. Rooms could be quite cold.. so bring your heavy coat!

Fantastic guided visit in English! What a treat to see such a well restored historical monument while learning about the fascinating and secret lives of nuns who, once in at the age of 15, would never to step outside again. Really worth the visit.

Well presented museum and artifacts with an enthusiastic lady guide (contrary to the Casa de la Moneda closeby); the highlight of our visit to Potosi. A word of warning: The cookies baked by the nuns and really not very tasty.

Santa teresa's history has been well preserved and the guided tour reveals a lot about the life of the convent. The building itself is really nice too. The tour however is a bit long and the last rooms mainly contain rather boring works of art.

One cannot help but marvel at the beauty and riches on display here. At the same time, we can be thankful we no longer cling to these old ways. Definitely worth a visit for the artwork alone.

If you're at all interested in religious artefacts then take the time to visit this wonderful place. We had a Bolivian guide who spoke perfect English and was constantly encouraging us to ask questions. We missed the first 10 minutes of the tour so she...More
