Did a sketch of the crane poem to follow. It appears that dreamers and lovers visit the crane. This was a cold winters day in Valparaiso

Muelle means dock. Today, unlike previous years when it was used to unload cargo, it is merely a boardwalk where people gather amongst the shipping containers and massive crane. Close to Acapulco and El Sol beaches, the casino and vibrant Avenue Peru.

This pier has an iconic reputation. A history of destruction and construction. It's definitely worth the visit and nice views of the playa from here.

This is the remains of an old pier used for loading ships with a crane going rusty. It falls into the same category as the Queens Pier in Ramsey (Isle of Man) - you have to be desperate to go out of your way to visit it.

So cute! It seems unsafe to cross but the truth is that the fear goes away as you walk. It has a large beach and many food places nearby, beware that they are places to snack, be careful of belongings since they can fall into the sea.

This historic ocean pier was reopened in 2016. An unusual feature of this pier is a restored crane on the side. It appears to be in working condition, but this area is no longer commercial - just a great place to walk with your family or just sit and take-in the view.

I enjoy walking on the pier. It has been remodeled and it has a beautiful view. There is always a variety of vendors and people fishing. Reminds me of California. I frequently walk on the pier in the late afternoon and evening when i'm in Chile.

The pier is well constructed and has plenty of room for strolling. The beach is well kept though it was annoying to see a lot of people littering. There were toilets on the beach though you had to pay, there were also plenty of vendors to buy drinks and snacks from. Some parts of the beach were dog friendly and others did not allow swimming in the ocean. We managed to catch a glimpse of sea lion in the surrounding sea which was amazing.
