Costanera is an interesting road which runs along the coast of Viña Del Mar, thus allowing for some great scenic views of the Pacific Ocean on one side and several interesting buildings on the other. Certainly would recommend traveling on this road to any tourist.

Such a long and lovely place next to Ocean. A relaxing journey either walk or drive. Remarkable view, great sunset and surprises from animals. Try local eateries and restaurants around, they are really savory.

After travelling around, it was great to come to a shopping mall. It's a good escape from thr scorching heat outside. The mall is well stocked with great brands. The food court features most local and international food chains.

Beware of unleashed dogs, especially at night. There are a lot of them on Viña Del Mar and Valparaiso. I recommend for walking, jogging or biking an ultrasonic dog repeller.

This road hugs the Pacific coast along Vina del Mar. There are coves that has rancid smell and filth floating. Not good

This is a must do if you are doing a tour of Vina del Mar. Our tour traveled along this road and it was so beautiful to see the coast and beaches. Vina del Mar is really a beautiful town.

Good for a walk and for enjoying the beach. They even have showers, a rarity for Chilean beaches. A lot of entertainment is given for kids (playgrounds, trampolins) and adults (nice bars to enjoy the view while taking your pisco sour or chirimoya juice). It's a popular spot for Chilean and Argentinian tourists, parking is 3000 pesos from 9 am to 3 pmand 3000 again for 3 to 9 pm, but is often collapsed in February.

Why come to Vina? For the beach! Lovely boardwalk for strolling for a long distance along the beach. You'll pass a lot of landmarks (Casino) and might get accosted by some gypsies begging for a cigarette or more, then you'll reach the old pier and find some vendors selling souvenirs. When you get tired go a few blocks inland and look for a bus heading back in the direction you came!
