We asked Destination Insight for sandboarding only (having lived in Dubai for a number of years we have done desert safari, camel riding etc to death). Mary was fantastic and organized exactly what we'd asked for. The location was perfect - quiet with lots of dunes. Our driver (Muhammad) was professional but fun, and went out of his way to make sure our day was enjoyable. We would definitely recommend Destination Insight for your next desert experience ☺️

Shawkat our guide was top drawer. Very engaging and ensured we have a great time . I would highly recommend using this company for your desert safari or trip especially if you value privacy and spending time with your family without being around larger camp groups

After contemplating a number of providers we finally booked our desert safari tour with Destination insight.
We were pleasantly surprised by the experience and the professionalism of the crew. Our family had a wonderful experience. Good quality vehicles and non-crowded venues. Plenty of time for each experience including Dune bashing , sand boarding , camel rides and BBQ dinner with entertainment.
I highly recommend Destination Insight if you are considering a desert safari experience. Worth every Dollar spent. For those who want fond memories - a night to remember !

We organised a private desert bbq experience for our family of 6, and it was a fabulour experience. A beautiful set up with twinkly lights. We did pay extra for a table and chairs because one member of the party has limited mobility. Kids loved running in the dunes, sandboarding and the archery. Food was delicious and plentiful. We loved sitting round the firepit and toasting marshmallows.
I was slightly worried how we would manage if the kids needed to wee, but there was the most immaculate portaloo that I have ever seen.
My only comments to improve would be to offer some cold drinks earlier on arrival in the desert. And our driver was very pleasant but a man of few words.
Would highly recommend. We have also previously done the platinum heritage desert experience, both were excellent but this gave the kids more time to just run around in the sand.

We were able to tailor our day to our needs and wants which was great. We absolutely loved the Quad riding in the dunes, the camel ride, the Dune Buggie riding, sand boarding, and the sunset. Baiju made sure our day went smoothly and made sure we had fun. We were also able to get picked up and dropped off where we wanted which was really convenient for us. We all highly recommend Destination Insight and will use again if we come back to Dubai! and wants which was great. We absolutely loved the Quad riding in the dunes, the camel ride, the Dune Buggie riding, sand boarding, and the sunset. Baiju made sure our day went smoothly and made sure we had fun. What an absolutely amazing experience!!!! We had a 12hr stopover in Dubai and wanted to experience as much as we could in such a short time. We were picked up by Ali at 4.30am at the airport and whisked away to an amazing sunrise experience. After having next to no sleep on our plane we were extremely tired but all of that seemed to momentarily disappear with such a beautiful sunrise and breakfast. Breakfast was delicious!!! We were then taken for a city tour by Mariette who was so knowledgeable and friendly :) unfortunately the jet lag got the better of us but we managed to get a lot of stops in before hand. Thank you Mary for organising such an amazing day. We are so grateful for such a beautiful experience and we can’t wait to come back and explore Dubai for longer. 100% recommend!

Absolutely loved the whole experience we paid and done the quad bike ride which was exciting as we'd never done it before. Our driver was Mayan he was lovely and very knowledgeable. Food was also delicious at the bbq and great entertainment

We had a brilliant day out with Baiju. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the desert for dune bashing. Baiju was great! We felt safe whilst having a lot of fun. Sandboarding followed dune bashing, as well as a visit to the camels then onwards to the camp for camel riding, evening entertainment and a BBQ buffet.
The day was very well planned, and eating in the desert was a nice change to our normal evenings in the hotel. Highly recommend Baiju and Destination Insight!! We will definitely book with them again for any other excursions. Thank you!

We spent 5 hours of pleasure in the middle of the desert. 3 adults and 2 kids having fun, eating delicious food, appreciating a rare moment away from the noise.

From the get to, Destination Insight was awesome. Ali provided great communication and we were picked up from our hotel from Saleem who was our driver for the day! Saleem was incredible. We had full trust of him during the dune bashing and he was all over the photo taking! He knows how to work the angles! We enjoyed sand boarding, camel rides and the bbq dinner was delish. 10/10 recommend. Awesome company and outstanding driver . Thanks Saleem!

We are travelling in 4 weeks time and have solidified a date. We are having some trouble connecting with you through your website. Just had a couple questions. 1. We are travelling with a 3yr old and 7yr old, would we provide the carseats or do you have carseats available? Dune Bashing is the name given to the drive across the desert in a 4x4. It is a thrilling drive that takes you up and down the dunes.
Yes it is in a Toyota Landcruiser.

Does DI use the same entertainment camp as other service providers? Also is the Dune Bashing done on Camel Rock?

If you make the request to go out to Camel Rock, they will typically accommodate this. In any event, the wheeling is done further out than where most other outfitters take you, so it's certainly more authentic with them. The same goes for the entertainment camp, they take you to one with a fewer guests, so it's a more intimate experience.

We went with a 2 year old and did the "Just For You" Private tour. It was great, they have car seats for the young ones and she had a good time. We didn't go crazy bashing dunes or anything but was perfect tour customized for us. The private tour imo is the best.

. Hi, I have a big group with different interests.
There are 15 of us. 4 seniors (oldest 75 yesrs old), 7 adults, 4 children( aged 3, 9, 10 and 14).
I am looming at sunset package with bbq dinner and ither activities. And I don't wsnt exciting drive for the seniors and children. Would you be able to customise a package for us? I have tried to email you but there isn't any reply yet.
