About
Claimed to be the World's Largest Covered Butterfly Garden. The circular garden has ten custom built domes and a butterfly museum. The ten domes are divided into four (4) sections. Each dome is filled with thousands lovely butterflies, 50 varieties of butterfly in different sizes and colors naturally alive, flying around the visitors, and standing over the flowers and the plants. Also, many nectar plants with different colors are planted to feed the butterflies. The domes are climate-controlled, providing the butterflies a relaxed environment and permitting the domes to be open throughout the year.

- らわManchester, United Kingdom1,701 contributionsUnique place filled with butterfliesThis is a small garden which houses butterflies inside what appears to be like a greenhouse or some indoor facility. It is not outdoors. The butterflies fly all over and you can take pictures with them on your finger. No food or drink allowed, and it costs money to enter. It takes about 30 minutes or so to see. Great for kids, overall an interesting visit after miracle gardens.Visited November 2023Traveled with friendsWritten November 25, 2023
- ki shôSeoul, South Korea174 contributionsHidden Gem near Miracle GardenOur family had a wonderful visit to the Dubai Butterfly Garden, located near the Dubai Miracle Garden. The garden's enchanting display of over 15,000 butterflies in more than 50 varieties was truly mesmerizing, providing a unique and educational experience for visitors of all ages. The climate-controlled domes covering an extensive area allowed us to observe the butterflies in a comfortable environment. The facility's amenities, including souvenir shops, a kids' cinema, and dining options, added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. Ticket information was accessible, with various options available for a tailored experience. Our time at the Dubai Butterfly Garden was a delightful escape into nature, and we highly recommend it for families and nature enthusiasts seeking a serene retreat in the heart of Dubai.Visited December 2023Traveled with familyWritten December 31, 2023
- Angie Venter139 contributionsOnce off experienceWas a lovely experience, but not something I would do again though. Once is enough. There are about 4 different zones that you walk in, the last one was my favourite. It was very calm and peaceful. Butterflies flying all around. The only downside was that people actively go pick up the butterflies, this shouldn't be allowed as it harms them. In the zones there are these tents that you walk into and there are butterflies in there. The one staff member kept hitting the fence which made the butterflies flutter around. Obviously that way the chances that a butterfly might land on you is higher, but seems a bit unnecessary and stressing out the butterflies for people's entertainment isn't great. There were also a couple of dead butterflies lying around. Perhaps this is from stressing them out and allowing people to touch them. I expected more butterflies and a wider variety of, but no luck. Was still lovely to walk around and see all the beautiful butterflies.Visited March 2024Traveled soloWritten March 11, 2024

There were lots of butterflies, of all different colours and sizes, and we had plenty of them land on us! The children were absolutely fascinated. They had a great area for younger children, with puzzles, drawing and face painting. There is an ice cream stall in the entrance, but you can’t eat inside, so buy ice cream on your way out. They are delicious and reasonably priced.Visited February 2024Traveled with familyWritten May 22, 2024
- AJD28Gujarat, India477 contributionsColourful, Vibrant, Interactive, TemperateThe most mesmerising and fantastic experience. The place is wonderfully maintained, colourful, vibrant, temperate and welcoming. The butterflies are delightful - one is quickly able to grasp how to lift them safely and carry them for some priceless photographs and memories. Terrific colours on display throughout and a well structured site with numerous zones to enter and enjoy. Enjoyed by children and elderly alike. Reasonably priced. We spent 2 hours here and could have easily spent more - particularly given the summer where interactive and engaging experiences indoors are highly desired. The entire time at this special Garden will remain memorable. A fantastic visit and highly recommended.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 24, 2024

After days of being in the city, in buildings, on sidewalks, it was very refreshing to be around plants and all the flitting butterflies. This was one of the things I enjoyed most in Dubai and it was certainly worth the $15 to get in. We spent as much time here as walking around the Miracle Garden because this place was so relaxing. You can stay as long as you want and walk back through the domes if you want to revisit them (which we did). There was no wait for tickets and you can catch a taxi right out front.

True to its name, the set up is an enclosed garden of butterflies of various species. They have four interconnected enclosures housing different types of species in each enclosure. There are small artificial water bodies as well and full of greenery. There is a gallery at the entrance/exit with different artefacts made from dried butterfly wings. There are couple of food outlets for refreshment. Visit

My husband & I visited the butterfly garden on our recent holiday to Dubai.
We felt that the attraction was overpriced for what was on offer as it was a just a couple of domes which were all largely the same. It was also concerning to see a number of people (inc children) playing with butterflies trying to pick them up/generally pulling and pushing their wings around despite being told not to on entry and onlooking staff making no effort to intervene.
There was more stuff to do for kids so perhaps better for families but for us we were in an out in circa 40 minutes so wouldn't be worth revisiting.

Really enjoyed this experience.
We choose to walk round quite speedily seeing all four rooms, then we did a second lap as we had then decided where we wanted to spend our time.
We liked room four best.
Butterfly’s sit on the floor, we came up with the code ‘ butterfly alert’ to make sure we didn’t tread on any.
It would be useful if they did a joint ticket with the miracle garden.

W visited the Dubai Butterfly Garden in the month of Nov'19 & clubbed the visit along with the Dubai Miracle Garden. Both places are next to each other & can be reached by public transport as well. We took the Dubai Metro till the Mall of Emirates & then took the RTA bus 105 to the garden. The garden itself has an awesome variety of butterflies. One can easily spend 1-2 hours at this place.

Hello. Is butterfly garden open in May? I see tickets but I hear it is closed. Confused now. 😉

Посетители говорят что есть проблемы с такси. На обратную дорогу их нет или они стоят очень дорого. Как лучше организовать такси от вас?

Should one pre-buy the tickets online or get them on the spot?
Written November 13, 2022
Is Dubai Butterfly Garden a part of the Miracle Garden or do you need to get two tickets?
Written February 2, 2020
You have to get two tickets as they just happened to be right next to each other however you need separate ticket for each of them 😊

How much is the ticket for adults and kids aged 3
Written August 31, 2018
Hi,
For adults it's 55DH and kids not sure (there is certain age for kids to go free).
It's absolutely worth. There are few rooms with different butterflies, free cinema (Disney's films for kids/adults) . Easy to have day trip.

is it better to book ticket online in prior for Miracle garden or at the gate, price seems seems, does it make any difference convenience wise?
Written March 26, 2018
Does not make difference
Prices are the same.

Ребёнку 2 года, сколько будет стоить билет на него? И нужно ли брать какие-то документы,подтверждающие возраст?
Written February 17, 2018
Ребенок - бесплатно. ОАЭ - это не Россия, чтобы подтверждать 2-х летний возраст ребенка. Да, думаю, и в России этого не требуют.
