We enjoyed the Desert Safari tour. There were 4 of us with a driver in a Landcruiser, all part of a caravan of 20-30 vehicles that went charging through the desert. While I would have preferred to drive myself it was fun to navigate through and over the sand dunes. We ended up at a camp where food was provided along with a good falcon show, opportunity to ride a camel, sand surfing, and traditional dances. It was all fun!…

The entire tour is a unique experience. It took about 1.5hrs (with a short stopover) to get to the dessert from our hotel. We went in January which is winter season in Dubai and very chilly. It is necessary to take a thick jacket to stay warm. We were taken to a part of the dessert where people were allowed to drive a quad bike. It’s about 150 AED which is quite pricey but worth the experience. I found it to be quite safe and exhilarating. This was in fact the highlight of the entire tour for me. There are people who will take your picture while on the bike. You have the option of purchasing the photo in a frame which is about 50 AED. The dessert camp itself is quite nice. They have a VIP section as well which has tents. We opted for the normal seating arrangement. Because it had rained some of the cushions were damp. The entertainment was ok. I didn’t find it all that interesting but the surrounding was good. The bathrooms are clean as well. The food was good. It was a combination of Arabic and Indian food and was a good variety. They have drinks and alcohol as well along with other activities such as mehendi and shisha. There is a camel ride available which is free. We opted out of it out of pity for the camels. There is sand boarding as well which is fun. I wouldn’t recommend the dessert safari it self for anyone with severe back problems or neck problems as they go quite fast up and down the sand dunes.…

Review of: 4x4 Red Dunes Dubai Desert Safari
You all will be surprised by terrible rating but its true no fun no adventures in paradise of desert safari. Why I write this is childish because before this I had done twice desert safari in Jesailmer, India and in Australia. If you have already done in above two your expectations will be higher in paradise of safari in Dubai. But what we experience 4*4 vehicles follow by each other and just to create adventure they bushing their steering but there is no sand dune up and down, even there is no such dune we found. 20 minutes bushing rest for photo and proceed for evening cultural program. Here you are offer free Hina tattoo, camel ride of course twenty five step ride hahaha, one can try there traditional attire. Arebian cultural program start with two different shows following by a man playing with the fire at least bearable followed by dinner. Here definitely missing original Arebian calbalean or caber at dance. For me it's childish and waste of time and money.…
