Three nights here and we'd have stopped longer. If you can get a deal including meals then do go. The food is as awesome as the rest of the hotel, even the basic ones that don't have a cover charge. Fantastic burgers. Fabulous decor and rooms that are more like suites. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable.

Palm Jumeirah is best viewed from above (something I did not get to do). It is a swanky neighbourhood lined with luxurious Arabic-inspired villas. Head to one of the luxurious hotels for dinner and of course Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis the Palm.

Drove along the Palm - didn't realise that it looks like a cross between East Berlin in the Cold War days and some old dockyard! Not at all what I imagined.

It is worth seeing the Palm and marvel at its engineering feat. The architecture and the engineering is something else.

You've likely heard of the Palm Jumeirah, the palm tree shaped artificial penninsula off the coast of Dubai, and it's a common destination for Google Earth fans. From space, or at least the air, it is quite remarkable. However, at ground level it is difficult to envision the unique plan. To reach it, you drive from the mainland and up... More

The Palm Jumeriah is an amazing feat of construction, well to me at least. It is reclained land, made mostly from sand, incredible! It host many types of accomodoation and hotels, including the fanstatic Alantais Resort. I took the monorail form the start all the way to Atlantis and could see many shops and eating places but have yet to... More

A lot of very nice hotels are located here. You have a wonderful view on the skyline and nearly all hotels have a wonderful beach which combines the best of all worlds. Wonderful sea with the unbelievable view on the skyscrapers and very good water quality with Arabian style and look and feel.
