Dear Guest, We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with such detailed feedback about your recent golfing experience but at the same time, deeply regret to hear that certain things did not meet your expectations. Here at Meydan Golf, we always welcome comments – be it positive or negative – from our valued guests and are open to healthy criticisms which we see as an opportunity to help us improve our overall facilities and enable us to continuously deliver outstanding services to the satisfaction of our guests. On the other hand, we are saddened to see that despite our Interim General Manager’s response to the review which you have posted earlier, with his attempt to provide a comprehensive explanation to all your concerns and turn your negative experience around, you continued to repost your bad reviews not only here on TripAdvisor but to other social media sites as well using different aliases. Similarly, you have also reposted negative reviews from other players dating to two years back under different accounts. What has been most disturbing to us was your e-mail threat mentioning: “do all in my power and position to spread out the word, telling the world that your golf course is a fiasco, a place that I generates unhappiness throughout their golf players – which supports your aggressive actions online. While we can no longer remove the negative imprint that you had from your last visit, please rest assured that our doors are always open and we are ready to hear it from you personally, where we could both discuss this matter in a closed forum and in a more professional and refined manner. Dear Golfing Guest, Thank you for writing a Trip Advisor review after your recent experience at the Track, Meydan Golf Managed by Troon Golf. I am disappointed to hear we did not meet your expectations and would like to clarify a few of the concerns you have outlined. 1. Our Security team are simply following our COVID-19 protocols laid out by the government and facility. I realize that it can be frustrating to get temperature checked often but it is for your safety and the safety of our staff. 2. I would like to reassure you that feedback like this is always brought to the attention of staff at regular team meetings and we are dedicated to offering a friendly, relaxed environment and ultimately a great golfing experience. This will be taken up at our next meeting. 3. This is known as a Spectator Fee and is common place throughout all the clubs in the UAE. 4. I will pass this on to the F&B team and can assure you this is only temporary as part of our reopening procedure. However, the kiosk and drinks buggy at the driving range can serve tea, coffee or soft drinks anytime. 5. Upon checking in at the Proshop you will have received and signed a receipt that asks you to ensure you properly check the course worthiness of the buggy before heading to the course. This is always conveyed to guests by our staff as this is standard procedure. If one of the straps on the buggy was damaged you should have reported this immediately to one of our staff and a replacement would have been offered. 6. I have personally not experienced any issues with google or the wifi in the facility. This is the first time I have heard this but will certainly look into this and see if we have been having any issues.
