Well organised and great fun. We always enjoy our trip to Ski Dubai. Dress warm though and allow plenty of time to get organised can be lines and crowds on the weekend. Breakfast at the cafe next door N28 is very nice too.
Great adventure! Lessons went well, snow park is fun. Penguins is a great learning opportunity as well as chance to see and touch the great creatures! A great family trip!
Just remember, you’re on a “ski hill” in the middle of the Arabian Desert!!! 🇦🇪
I went to Ski Dubai with my four year old. It was magical. The adventure starts out with a swarming, chaotic line. In this mess of people we got to experience all of the worst stereotypes of several nationalities; rudeness, lack of personal space, haggling...More
It's actually astonishing how this place is made!
We did the private penguin experience and I would definitely recommend it. You play with penguins, train them, see their living space, feed them and cuddle them! The staff really do love these animals and it's warming...More
Ski Dubai is located inside Emirates mall. Although we prefered not to have skiing, the experience was amazing. The place is very well organized, so you don't need to pay for uniform or gloves (the temperature is 0 C), we choose a ticket with a...More

We went to Ski Dubai twice over the past 2 weeks. The rental skis are actually decent. Could be more waxed but okay. Bring your own coat and pants if you can.

In December 2015 we came to meet Santa at Ski Dubai, and we turned up and it was the same most amazing Santa (from Leeds.....we think).
We went on Christmas Eve and it was very busy. The prebooking online beforehand didn’t make a huge difference...More

If your daughter has never skied before then i would suggest having her do ski lessons so that you can enjoy the slopes accident free. There are some crazy people that rush down the slope and you have to try your best to get out of their way for your own saftey .
However, there is a section in ski dubai which is closed off for training, so if you want to teach your daughter yourself, you could do that as well.
Arranging Jumeirah Mosque-Jumeriah Beach Park-The Walk (2 Replies)
Hi all, I would like to see Jumeirah Mosque, Jumeriah Beach Park (for views of Burj Al Arab), and walk along the popular stretch of "The Walk at Jumeriah Beach Road" before heading to Ski Dubai. There are all in the same area but I'm a little confused as to the best way to travel from site to site and the order to arrange these 3 sites. Is it walkable between all 3 sites or would I have to take the taxi/bus between 2 or all 3 of them? Thanks for all help provided!

Jumeirah Mosque is about 30 km away from JBR so you need to take a taxi. Jumeirah Beach Park is closed. Do them in the following order Visit Jumeirah Mosque, taxi to Sunset Beach aka Um Suqeim beach near burj Al Arab for photos with the burj. Then taxi to JBR The Walk. Then taxi to Ski Dubai in MoE
Ski Dubai Super pass (2 Replies)

You are not allowed on the slope if you have no prior experience in skiing.
Itinerary help (4 Replies)
We will be in Dubai for 4 days in mid September. My hubby wants to ski at Ski Dubai and go the Formula 1 track. Would a tour of Abu Dhabi on the way to the track work? Other than that, we have no plans. Suggestions and for which days, please? Is Ski Dubai close enough to walk to from DAM? We're not huge shoppers, although we would like the experience of a souk at least once while we're there. Many thanks for your advice! Oh, this is a stopover on the way to Africa.

The formula 1 track is at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. It is between Abu Dhabi and Dubai so around 1 hour by cab from Dar Al Masyaf hotekl and then Abu Dhabi city is 30 minutes further on. So to answer your question, no, a tour of Abu Dhabi on the way to the track won't work because you'll get to the track before you get to Abu Dhabi. So you could go to the track then on to Abu Dhabi and then back to Dubai, which will take 90 minutes on the return Ski Dubai is in Mall of the Emirates, which...More
