Worst touristy thing I have ever done!! Picked us up late then drove to pick someone else up (45min in the car later) 4 x African men get in the 4WD. A bit squashed with driver & my sister & I then another hour till we get let out at an awful dusty old tourist shop for 45 mins, being asked to buy scarves every 5 mins.
Then the tour begins..a convoy of 7x4WD's in our group speeding up & down the dunes (seemed really pointless & boring after a min or so) then we make a few picture taking stops in the desert (rubbish everywhere) then stop at the "Bedouin" camp for dinner. This wasn't too bad, sat down for dinner & then they had two entertaining local acts that were quite good.
Whisked away at 8pm & after driving back to Dubai & dropping other people's to hotels we finally got back at 10pm. It was torture!

Hi JKay Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback on our Desert Safari and we are glad to hear that you enjoyed the trip! Will surely pass on your kind review to our driver too. For interest on your next visit, there are a number of options available on this safari. Why not try a sand-boarding or desert dune buggies safari in the afternoon beforehand? We really look forward to welcoming you on your next trip to this great city! Thanks & With Regards, Suresh MC

Its better late than never! My family and I had a memorable experience with Jaas tours couple of months ago for an evening of desert drive and dune bashing followed by dinner entertainment. What's more! the coordination was was seamless right from pickup to drop-off. A few months later when we experienced a personal emergency, it was Jaas Tours to the rescue by processing our travel bookings at short notice with optimal pricing at short notice.

In a nutshell, should you be looking for a one stop comprehensive holiday package in the region, Jaas Tours is my recommended choice. I hear they have other destinations too and am looking forward to the next experience with them. Keep up the tempo JT!

JAAS Tourism is an excellent tour company with well mannered & knowledgeable tour guides. We booked a desert safari for our family with them. Right from the tour coordinator, Ms. Mischelle for patiently answering our queries & booking the tours to the well-versed safari drivers & the camp staffs, all of them were very polite & helpful throughout our trip.

The driver, Mr. Rajeesh, was very professional in his safari skills. The desert safari camp was well organized with various food options for vegetarians & non vegetarians. Since we wanted a private place with our family having kids, the camp staffs arranged for an exclusive Arabic tent from where we could watch the entertainment well. The Egyptian dance, belly dancing & the other entertainments were mind-blowing!! The staff were courteous & helpful & made sure to arrange the cold-drinks & water to our exclusive tent. The toilets were relatively clean.

The Abu Dhabi tour started with sight seeing the Emirates Palace & the corniche with stops at the Date market, the Grand Mosque & Ferrari World. The tour guide was again well informed & provided us with a lot of details. All in all, JAAS TOURISM is definitely one of the best that I have traveled with in Dubai. Keep up the good work!!! Will surely book you for my next trip too...

We booked a NYE cruise with Jaas tours for Sultan of the Seas - "the largest floating restaurant in the Middle East". It served the main purpose of escaping the crowds, and managed to catch a glimpse of the fireworks from a vast distance, however was not worth it overall, particularly considering the NYE price gorging.
The boat left 30 mins after schedule, and if you board early you end up waiting for latecomers and large coaches that do pick ups anyway. Eclectic group of passengers, including locals and tourists.
Buffet dinner was average; entrees served at the table were cold (fried calamari, chicken kebabs).
Unfortunately the boat tried to head out to sea for a good position to view the fireworks of Burj Kalifa and Burj el Arab but was suddenly told by the coast guard to turn back. The seas were a but bumpy so perhaps that was why but passengers were not informed of anything.
The rest of the cruise was spend idly going down the other boring coastline, and then loitering at the mouth of the creek for a distant glimpse of the fireworks.
It would have been ideal to end the cruise just after midnight, but instead it continues till 2 am, filling the time with cringeworthy "entertainment" of spinning dancing man; horse costume whose main gimmick is to just bump into audience members, and a magician who was the best of the bunch.
Felt sorry for the crew who had to clean up the boat which was a mess of glitter and NYE party decorations which were spread everywhere.
There was a fairly generous raffle of prizes at the end, with about 20 giveaways of tours and activities in Dubai.
Overall, 4 hours trapped on a boat, wished we could have left sooner.

Their price is unbeatable. Even my friends at Dubai agreed this was best pricing. I took select services from them.

Their visa making costs are cheapest and delivered visa within 24hrs via email.

Constantly replied all my queries, emails pre-trip and called up my hotel once I reached.

Airport pickup was good although driver took 10min in getting the car.

Desert safari was almost in private car although we had opted for sharing coach. It was a five star experience with the safari, performances, camel ride, henna, photo in traditional dress etc. only food wasn't as per expectations but good for the price.

Full day (11hr) city and Sharjah tour was good. The driver took us to great eating places and was nice.

Oman Mussandam trip was good for the cruise and water activities. The ride to the port and return wasn't great with all of us stuffed in a van/coach, that was a sore point. Else the food, activities, staff were very good.

All in all am happy with Jaas and for the price they over deliver. Will strongly recommend if you are looking for great experience within limited budgets.

Went on this tour with my partner, brother and 14 year son. My son had his first experience on a quad bike, extra but worth every penny. He loved it. Dune bashing was an amazing experience. Driver took into account how fast and bumpy a ride the group wanted. Stopped for photos at sunset and sand boarding. We went for the package without dinner. Great for all age groups.

Desert safari is a MUST do in Dubai. It was really a great experience for me & my partner. We book in Jaas Tours. The driver pick us up at exactly 3PM in our hotel. Our safari driver is very accomodating & friendly, along the road he is telling us the places we are passing by. It was almost an hour when we reach to desert. We stop at the meeting point whereas they need to loose air of the tire for Dune Bashing. Dune bashing is such a fun thing to do. Rajeesh(safari driver) was so great in doing deep trenches & making his guest scream. After our dune bashing we went to camp for other activities. we experienced riding in a camel, wearing arabic dresses, trying sheesha, watching tanoura & belly dance show & of course we had a delicious dinner at the camp. I can highly recommend Jaas Tours for safari. We had fun a lot. It was really worth it to spend your money.

My family went on this safari trip last Aug 17, 2013. We booked it before we have arrived in Dubai through Michelle by email and paid it upon our arrival which was very convenient. it was one of the highlights of our trip to Dubai, it should not be missed! It was such a beautiful and adrenaline-pumping experience that we won't forget. The guide picked us from the hotel at around 3:45pm in his land cruiser and took us outside the city towards the desert. We made our first stop in a place where anyone can buy refreshments and arabic traditional clothes, and for the more adventurous people do buggy drives at an extra cost, we didn't do either, and after about 40minutes we left for the dune bashing. It was our first time to see a desert scenery (we live in the tropics) and was so amazed at how beautiful and calm and serene the surrounding was. the only people there were the tourists who I saw were pretty much psyched like us to experience it. And what an experience, we hit the dunes and held on to our seats and were screaming and laughing like schoolkids as the guide took us to very big dunes! it went on for 30-45 minutes till the sun sets and we stopped for a photograph right there in the middle of nowhere. I felt like at peace with everything to be standing there on top of this dune in the midst of seemingly unending desert and the sun setting on the background. It was something really special. After a while we proceeded to an enclosed area (the camp) like a Bedouin camp in the middle of the desert complete with fortified walls. Outside the guide said we can go for a camel ride for free but have to fall in line as there were many others on queue. my kids liked it. inside we were seated on a carpeted floor with cushions to sit on and a table. It was a lovely setting, all of us (with all other tourists) were seated around a platform which serves as a stage for the night's performers. We had refreshments and shavarma- a popular arabic fare like a chicken sandwich wrapped in an arabic bread with veggies. we went to the traditional arabic dress booth and tried it for free and took our photographs, we also tried henna tattoo as the kids were so excited to have tattoos. the lady who is doing it was so adept in in trying other designs to many people. it was done mostly on your hands and fingers. i also saw men comfortably seating and smoking shisha. I didn't try this because I don't smoke. but they seemed enjoying it. the performers played for us, there was a magic show, a dance which involves stuffed toys, and the highlight of the performances are the tanoora dance and belly dance. first the tanoora dancers - all male, started to swirl with their big and colorful skirts on, you wouldn't think the swirling would last 20 minutes at least because they would be dizzy right? but they didn't stop. on their hands were something like caps they are trying to form patterns while spinning. then towards the end their full suits and skirts were lighted with different colored LED lights, amazing. last to perform was the belly dancer, i supposed she was of russian descent, she danced and leaped around the stage with her tricks . these, by the way, we watched while we ate our barbecue dinner. the food available at the counter wasn't that extensive but more than enough for the price of AED 150 which included everything. I've heard that there are many places where tourism companies do these safari trips where the quality of service and the experience are not the same and for different prices. ours was i think more than what we have paid for! we were sent back to the hotel by 9:30pm. It was a night to remember for a very long time. so thank you jaas tourism for a taking good care of my family!! see you next time! ))
