The area
Neighborhood: The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.

Had a speed boat tour around Dubai Marina.

The tour guide was good and friendly at the same time.

The boat captain is excellent in his speed boat turning skills.

Had a lovely pictures of Burj Al Arab, Atlantis Hotel, Dubai Eye and around Marina area.

Lovely, bone thrilling experience.

I booked a cruise tour of Dubai Marina with Dinner. However once at the venue I realized that instead of having the cruise with dinner, I could have simply taken on the spot any yatch and taken a tour. Cruise Marina tour if you search online you get multiple options, some very expensive, but believe me all are one and the same with minor variations and not worth the money they charge. Dinner is also average in proporation to money they charge. A better way to save money would be to go to Dubai marina in evening, take any available yatch, browse the marina, adn then sit in a any restaurant nearby and have dinner. It will give you value for money. Also, you will be bored wihtin 30minutes of your cruise tour as there is nothing except building lights on both sides to watch. Tanura dance may entertain you for a few minutes but thats all.

I spend a beautiful sunset at Dubai Marina's Yacht Bay. Very recommendable to take a walk around the artificial lake and having a quite delicious dinner at Istanbul Restaurant. Not expensive and high quality of food.

A most while you stay in Dubai

I cannot comment on the Yacht Club itself but I am sure it is very nice indeed.

However, the Yacht Club buggies that race up and down the Marina Walk are often, but not always an absolute menace. I have no idea where they are racing to or from, or why they seem to assume priority. But occasionally the buggy drivers seem to have little patience or regard for pedestrians or other Dubai Walk (the clue is in the name!) users.

the yachts are beautiful. we saw a yacht which would cost around £400 just for around 2 hours and it wasn't even that big.

It's a place with different experience. A yacht club in the middle of the city and a serene view where you can sit all day all night. you can book private yacht to have a luxurious experience. you can also book a ferry at just 50 DHM and can see whole of the Dubai by sea.

How wonderful - the view of the sun going down over the marina, and watching the boats and people come and go beneath you. Great platter of food - not too pricey, and great service. Don't go for a formal dinner if you want to sit outside, but as a lovely way of spending an evening - highly recommended. As is the happy hour/s!!

I visited this place twice on my last trip to Dubai and really enjoyed it! The first time was a Friday evening where we were lucky enough to get some of the comfortable seats outside with the spectacular views of the marina and we had a few chilled out drinks. My second visit was on a Tuesday night for ladies night following the recommendation of my friend and it was as good as he had told me. We got there early and managed to avail of a few happy hour drinks before the crowds arrived. It started to get busy from about 9pm onwards and the atmosphere was really good with a nice crowd of decent people. Mainly an expat crowd with all sorts of nationalities and ages. There was some barbecue food available too although we didn't have any. I will definitely return here on my next visit to Dubai!

Dear Guest, Thanks for the review. We are happy to hear that you had a great time at our club. Some of the nights do get very busy and we are glad that you found a comfortable seating outside. On your next visit, we recommend that you come in on a Thursday for the Audio Tonic Night that features some of the best DJs in town. Do let us know about your experience. Look forward to your next visit soon. Best Regards, Jonathan Hind General Manager Dubai Marina Yacht Club

Dubai Marina Yacht Club Friday Brunch (7.30pm-11pm) used to be my favourite brunch in Dubai - with cocktails and all you can eat seafood starters along with sushi and dim sum setting it apart from the other brunches.

Having booked the brunch last night, we soon discovered the sushi, dim sum, cocktails and roast joints along with the dessert room have been removed from the menu yet the brunch is still the same price (350 aed) for house wines, spirits and hops now that cocktails have disappeared.

Please bring back the original brunch menu and up the price rather than removing the best parts of the brunch to keep the price the same.

Dear Guest, Thanks for the review. It's great to know that the brunch at Aquara was one of your favourites. However, it is sad that you are disappointed with the new brunch menu. Our Friday Brunch is currently under a trail phase and we will pass on your feedback to the relevant department. Do leave us your contact details at info@dubaimarinayachtclub.com and we will be happy to discuss your feedback in detail. Hope to see you here soon. Best Regards, Jonathan Hind General Manager Dubai Marina Yacht Club
