I visited the Computer Plaza again after a couple of years and it still boasts of giving visitors a peak into variety of all things techy. It is a place to shop for computers and accessories, though these days, one can get nice deals also from the different shopping malls.
It is also a good place to go for repairs.

As mentioned in subject, the same model will be expensive in India, even if you get it on an e-comm.
I felt I had a great bargain when I got a laptop.
I took the usual precautions of checking the prices online, authenticity of the pdt, intl warranty etc.
I paid for an additional 4GBs of RAM to be installed.
I checked before accepting delivery and the specs in the laptop mentioned as expected, however, the laptop started working slowly after a few months.
I checked online and one article mentioned about frauds that said how these shops with upload softwares that manipulate the RAM information. I do not know if this can be done, but you should definitely be careful.

Hi guys, Please avoid computer care company which is located in al ain centre entrance...The technician over charged me for the hard drive replacement...Very bad customer service and cheating...

Me and my boyfriend came to this corner view all the time to buy phone and some electronic devices. But this time there is one guy there name ALMIR we are asking about a brand and specifically answering us with rudeness and arrogance i think he is mad for something and giving to his customer and he is shouting to my bf for no reason even other customer is saying why we are letting him talk like that he is swearing and thinking very smart himself. . Dear management this is how u lose your customer. This kind of attitude will never grow your business. We were a loyal customer bcause of trust now we will never buy anything there anymore. Hopefully this one reach to you.

You gotta know what you want before you come to Al Ain Centre. And you should know that you will have to hunt around for quality and a good deal. They can go together or otherwise!!!
There are shops spread over two levels where the guys at the front generally have higher prices for their gadgets.
As you venture off to the sides, the rear or the Mezzanine floor, you will start learning about the variation in sales price.
There are several stores that will good value on product and services such as installation and or software sales however the second part is more important.
The best deals require cash payments but you should know that warranties are usually not the shop's problem: it's the manufacturer's issue. So unless you are seeking a brand that has great representation in Dubai, chances are you won't get more from the deal except a favorable price on the sale.
This is a good place to get your smartphone or tablet fixed like for screens and or hard drives and or RAM.
But avoid the duplicate (fake) power supplies and cables; this is the area which is very concerning. You may be pairing a power supply with no circuitry to prevent spikes reaching your device which means shorter battery life and or premature failure.
For things such as routers, new laptops, OEM accessories, patch cables, PC hardware, this is the best place in UAE.
For all other stuff, go to your smart devices' recommended suppliers.

This a recommended place to find IT and computing accessories and parts at competitive prices, also I recommend this place to fix electronic devices (Island Sands shop in particular)

Great mall for Tech gadgets at a good price. But... if you are a foreigner, be sure to check all products thoroughly for Warranty and validity in your country, and double check the items are genuine or refurbs, alot of them are refurbished from Europe and sell at discounted price.
Mostly Indians in this shop and will give good bargain, better pricing than Dubai mall. There is also a whole computer market diagnoally oppsite ( on Al Nadha St, behing Admiral Plaza hotel) where you can get even cheaper Laptops, Cameras and computer peripherals.
