Nestled in the midst of some busy commercial and upmarket domestic neighborhoods, the spacious Zabeel Park is easily approachable through roads and the Metro. Ample parking area makes Gate 1 a preferred entry point, though I saw at least one more gate. This 52-hectare park can easily accommodate 400 people with access to several bar-be-cue facilities. One can bring food from outside, though there is also an option to buy certain items on the premises. With a nominal entry fee for unlimited stay during the day, the variety of swings, models of structures, and a vast jogging track, the facility is an ideal picnic spot for families with children and the elderly.

Perhaps nice for families with kids who can enjoy the attractions like the dino and glowing stuff. The park is huge, well guarded and fenced to keep non-paying guests out (especially the area near the Frame). I got the feeling of being trapped.

The park design is a bit boring: grassy spaces for a picnic, trees, some shrubs and few flowers. The place lacks a soul. Perhaps they could involve garden architects and abolish the entrance fees. 5 Dirham is not a lot, but for low income people enough to stay away, but perhaps that is exactly the intention.

Nearest metro station Al Jafiliya
Most visitors seem to come and go by car (parking lots available)

Being located a bit outside of the main tourist areas, this park is also host to Dubai Frame.

Although we don't recommend visiting the Frame itself (see dedicated TA review), if you decide to go anyway, then make sure to spend some time in this adjacent park.
It is free to enter / roam in it.

You'll get nice views of the Frame, especially in the open-air auditorium area.
Otherwise, the park has not much to offer, but looks good in general and is very quiet / calm.

Visiting Dubai frame got off Metro at Max walked round to the park. Spoke to security staff who said we could not enter the park to access the frame so had to walk all the way round outside park. not 1,000,000 miles to walk but does seem a little bit crazy considering your ticket price for the frame includes access to the park. It would’ve been pleasant to walk through the park rather than walk all the way around. After an enjoyable visit to Dubai frame it was dark when we left so we could not walk through the park. Perhaps next time we are visiting Dubai we will make a special visit to visit the park.

We had pre booked Dubai frame tickets which said free access to Jabeel park. We arrived off the metro and thought we would grab a drink and go to the play area before seeing the frame. Security would not let us in and said you can only come into the park AFTER the frame, not what the tickets said and security did not want to listen when I advised them it said free access no other limitations. We had to walk a long way around to get to the frame instead of the shorter way through the park and without a drink for our son.

You can spend a couple hours here, but in the end you will probably leave disappointed.

One thing for certain, don't waste your time and money on Magic park, this is below average. Dinosaurs are OK, glowing figures are nice in the dark.

Lovely little park that is free to access after visiting the Dubai Frame (otherwise you have to pay separately). Plenty of benches and shade but not much else, at least during Ramadan. Restrooms were clean and seems like this park would have a lot of visitors in the evening hours. Parking available on site.

Nice park for family hangout / picnic. The dinasaur park is a great attraction for the kids. The glow garden looks amazing in the dark. The ice park is nice, but in my opinion, a time visit.

The Park charges a nominal entry fee of Dh 5 per person, however there's a big walking track surrounding the park, for which you don't have to pay, and it is a wonderful place for both leisurely walk and serious brisk walk or jogging.
In late hours, you'll find animal lovers feeding stray cats, while you walk at night, it's also a pleasant thing to watch.
You'll find a lot written about entertainment related aspects of Zabeel Park, but for those who like to walk or jog in open at night this is a hidden jewel of Dubai.
