I have been visiting this mall since more than twenty four years now and one of my favourite malls through a little underrated. Lamcy Plaza is a mid-sized shopping mall in the Oud Metha area of Dubai. Its five floors offer over 150 stores, a small cinema, food court, and for the family and I have had my food there twice in the food court that had a choice of a variety of cuisines in their food court in the ground floor. The Lamcy Plaza, hit by a fire outbreak in early March in 2017 was renovated and still being renovated partly I was told.

A Budget Mall at Oud Metha with ample paid parking facility. A cinema hall next to it (Lamcy Cinema). Easily accessible through public transport systems. A good number of Budget shopping facilities are available including a hyper market. A decent food court with handful of options available. you can meet your basic needs there. There is a checking counter and transport facility for Air Arabia in the premises. A number of restaurants are available in the vicinity.

You will fell like you are in India, because of all the indian costumers. If you need something basic it will have but it doesn't have anything special. Apart from Dayso the Japanese shop I love.

We had been to this mall many times over the years but had been closed for 4 years due to refurbishment works following a huge fire. The taxi driver said it was open and so did it’s website so we thought we’d take a look. After paying a 100 Dhirhams to get there and over half an hour in the cab we were dropped off only to find the doors shut and as we turned around the taxi driver had sped off. All to make a taxi fare. Fuming.

I frequently go to this mall when I am in Dubai as it is near my place of stay. The mall has multiple indian cloths shops offering a great variety at competitive prices. I especially like Bareeze, Originals and Nishat Linen, and I always get asked from where I buy my cloths when I get them from these shops. Shoe Mart has excellent shoes and BHS is always on sale. For my husband, I go to Ted Lapidus and Pierre Cardin where items are sold at budget prices. There also you can find a big store for Daiso Japan where you can buy great home gadgets and personal care products at extremely reasonable prices. Its also where you might find affordable good quality gifts for all members of the family. There are also electronics and gold shops. The exchange shop opposite the entrance offers the best rates in town. The food court is clean and has indian and international foods as well as some of the famous fast food franchises. I do all my shopping from there for me and for my family members.

I had visited lamcy plaza back in July 2006, I went back in September 2013 to find the same clown going upland down in the middle of the mall. No changes have been made to the interiors .. The stores are okay.. Matalan (UK) is totally overpriced.. The rest of the stores hardly have any choices when it comes to ladies apparel.

Last Friday there had been a fire, and it was closed temporarily. But it's always a very good mall for shopping with high quality items and reasonable price.

Decent small mall. Does not make you walk around a lot if you want just purchase what you want and leave. Good food court. Lots of bargains and discounts happening if you are looking out for this. Not very high end shopping that suits me perfectly. Family loved it and kids had good fun at fun city at the GF.

Lamcy Plaza is a replica of India! If you're Indian you'll feel right at home there, there's shopping, food, an extremely creepy clown going up and down a wire. Actually, I don't even know why that's there.
