Very spacious cornche side entrance, quo amenties like water, fans, shade, line controls well addressing by temple trust volunteers. Shiri sai, Shiv Ling, Devi in one sanctum sanctorum and adjacent to same, there will be a gurdwara. With hardly 50 mtrs distance another premises with Srinathji and other dieties.
Good hygiene, social distancing, clean packed water and some times butter milk/ rose milk sachets distributing by temple.
Chappaqua stands at 3 places completely safe custody under self help process. Surrounding the premises , there are tens of puja ( worship) accessories stores & one can get all items like coconuts, fruits, flowers, holy hand band threads, turmeric, kumkum, vibhuti, milk ( for abhishekam) and religious souvenirs.

Today i called this number 04 353 5334 to find out what time the mandir opens on friday, since i am coming from a far away place, and have to arrange my travel accordingly. To my astonishment, he replied, "come here, i will tell you, can't be replied over phone"
I don't understand what he means, what is the difficulty in informing the timings. Else, what a telephone is meant for... Quite strange.... May be he thinks he himself is the god....

The Shiva Temple is one of the two Hindu temples in Dubai, other being the one for Sreenathji.
The temple is a melting pot for all Hindus. Open from quite early in the morning till at least 10 pm all days, the temple has several Hindu God images and idols. Prominent is the Shiva Linga, surrounded by images of various Hindu deities. Adjacent to the Shiva Linga is a place for Saibaba. On festival days there are special events and prayers at the temple. Daily there is a Sahasranamam Parayanam at night before closure of temple. Prasad in some form is almost guaranteed when you visit this temple. One can make private offerings, do 'archana' etc.
One floor above the Shiv Temple is a small Gurdwara. Now Sikhs have their own spacious and large Gurdwara near Jebel Ali.
Several shops below Shriathji & Shiva Temples sell fresh flowers and various puja items required for Hindus who visit the area. Laying by the side of the Bur Dubai Creekside and Ruler's office, the Sreenathji Temple and Shiva Temple add just the right mix to the cosmopolitan Dubai. The presence and recognition of the temples is an outstanding example of the liberal outlook of Dubai.

I can only say that this is one place where you feel you are fully connected with GOD.
This place is very well maintained. It's one place everyone should visit for sure.

Size doesn't matter for a holy place, so though this temple is small, it feels so peaceful when you go there. Must visit for all Hindus living in Dubai.,

A very small Hindu temple located on the premises of an old department store above the old souk in Bur Dubai. It is rather difficult to find the entrance, as it is almost hidden in the very narrow alleyways under the building. Only about 15 people can worship at the same time in the main room.
Perhaps indicative for religious tolerance in 1958 Dubai when the permission for Hindu worship here was obtained. Eventually in 2022 a larger Hindu temple opened up in Jebel Aili. Keep in mind there are over 1.2 million Hindus in the UAE (35% of the population).

The Shiva Temple is the only Hindu temple in Dubai & we missed out on the darshan as we went during day time on Friday when the temple was closed.
Approach to the temple is through narrow lanes and one has to walk to visit the temple.
With another plot allotted in Abu Dhabi, hope to see a large temple in coming years for the large Hindu population in the UAE.

Very close to the Dubai museum and at a walkable distance from Al Fahidi station, are two temples & a gurudwara. If I am not sure this is the only temple in Dubai.
Radha Krishna temple as you enter the lane and the Shiva Temple once you enter the bylanes. The Shiva temple houses the Gurudwara on the top floor. Once you enter the temple street you might tend to forget that you are actually in Dubai.
The Shiva temple is a home for many Hindu Gods including Sai Baba, I am a staunch believer of. None of my visits to Dubai are complete without taking the darshan at the temple.
Its a place of worship and does not necessarily restrict to someone with Hindu faith. As long as you believe in God and would not hurt the sentiments of the community, please bow your head at this place and may all your wishes come true, as mine did!!
Love & Light to all.

I loved this place. I didn't know about this place earlier. But luckily one of my friends took me to Shiva Temple. The place was really peaceful and I spent a lot of time with my family.

As I am disabled, I use a walking aid, will I be able to walk up the steps/route
to the temple.
Param V
Ajman, United Arab Emirates
Ahh..... If that aid helps you to climb over stairs then shouldn't be a problem honestly or else you might have to take help for getting up into the temple and for exiting. Sorry, for such inconvenience but I have seen really old aunties maybe in their late 80s using stairs so I think you can give a try, hopefully shouldn't be an issue.

1. Is the temple open daily and the times.
2. How do i get there using public transport
Param V
Ajman, United Arab Emirates
Yes temple is open daily from 4am to 10pm with closure of Sai Baba section at 09:05pm for Shri Vishnu Sahasranamam performed by the fellow South Indian worshippers and best thing is to take any bus that leads you to Al Ghubaiba bus station or if using metro then by using green line u can get down at either Al Fahidi station which is a little bit farther from temple or preferable station for temple is Al Ghubaiba Station from there u have to walk down straight into the traditional Souq of Bur Dubai also known as Souq Al Kabeer
