This hotel has an exceptional architecture but can not be accessed unless you have a reservation to stay or a restaurant. Prices are excessive, even for coffee. Five stars for architectural beauty but none for its accessibility.

A great hotel but I honestly believe you only need a picture with it from the outside I don't believe its worth the money, time or effort to go inside it.

Reservations are required and the menu is quite pricey. However it is well worth it. The service is second to none.

It's a beautiful building from the outside however I think it's a little distasteful on the inside. The food options for dinner also lack quality, which did surprise me judging by the 7 star. I've been to Scape and Bab al Yam I've been to...More

As far as I know, it’s not possible to gain access by just have a drink. You must be hotel guest (have a suite there) or make a booking for tea time or lunch/dinner in one of the restaurants. Therefore I would recommend the... More

You will be offered more by the waiting staff on most of the courses, nice to pick a few extras of your favourites.

Hi, Hoping you can help with a few questions. I've booked the Burj Al Arab for afternoon tea on a Saturday mid May. We have a reservation for 16:00 just wondering if I should change it for 16:30 to be able to stay closer to sunset. Do they start to pack up after 6pm & wanting people to leave etc in that case would it be better to get the earlier table at 16:00. We have asked if we can stay on for a cocktail but they said we have to make another booking :( After tea we were...More

Sunset is around 7.15 at that time of year so it's unlikely raft you'll get to stay that long. They don't ask you to leave but they do start clearing tables, hovering and pointedly asking if there is anything else they can get you at around 6pm I'd get a buggy outside the Burj and go for drinks at Khouba Bar in the Al Qasr hotel or Bahri Bar in the Mina A Salam. If there is a TGI Friday voucher you can use it in any branch in Dubai
