I booked the tour of the Burj Al Arab, where you have to go to the Jumeriah Beach Hotel to register.

The groups are small and enter via the main reception then to the first floor and then to the 25th floor to the Royal Suite which is now a museum.

There are other exhibits to see on the 90 minute tour, and is a great way to access the hotel.

I also booked afternoon tea after the tour in the foyer, and was allowed extra time to take pictures of that area.

The chef prepared dishes to my recommendations so the service was excellent.

The sandwiches, pastries and scones were of the highest quality, but the view out of the window is not very good as there are bulldozers on the beach, so it's best to face the lobby.

Priced at £140 this the most expensive afternoon tea I have encountered, and believe me there are better in London and at half there price. The cost of Champagne is used as an excuse for the high price.

Interior was gaudy and ugly. This hotel is really ugly outside and inside. But the hotel is known for its service!!! The service is great and so nice. The food was amazing. I forgot the name of the restaurant but it was really really delicious. The live music on the second floor is good. This is a great place to recommend out of town guests who have money to burn because this hotel was one of the most expensive ones I have been to.

We went for a lunch buffet. Only those with restaurant table reservation or hotel guests can enter the area as there are security guards checking your information. The interiors are luxurious and breathtaking. I was quite amazed by the fountain which you will find when you go upstairs from the entrance floor.

We booked a Daycation deal which included the Pool pass and credits to Food and Beverages at Sal restaurant. Went with my wife and a couple of our friends. The place was really nice and the view of the sea is really stunning especially the sunset. The service by the staff was superb. I even had a bonus to have a bouquet of flowers given to my wife as a surprise. Thank you very much and kudos to the staffs for making it happen. Burj al arab is in our bucketlist and once the hotel will be opened 4 visitors, we will definitely be back to try to experience the afternoon tea at the skyview bar. Thumbs up!

This is purported to be the world's only 7* hotel, obviously too expensive for most travelers. However, we asked our guide to drive us to the site so we could see the display of gold horse statuary in front of the hotel. Magnificent!

The Burj Al Arab is a very expensive luxuirious hotel but you cant get anywehre near it to see even inside the foyer if you are not staying here whichis disspointing.

Even on a trou or taxi secrity stop you well back from being anywhere near it and check if you have a reservation and if not you are turned away. This is rather poor for tourits and not a good customer relations excercise by the hotel.

If you feel the need to grab a photo from well back at the beach, do so but its certainly not worth spending any time or money trying to get near itm, unless you have the thousands of dollars a night to stay there.

This place isn’t for “mortal” tourist. Don’t loose your time if limited while you visiting Dubai. You’ll only be able to take pictures from a far distance. It’s a shame the owners discriminate all tourists just to have exclusivity for their rich room renters. I’d be great to have a paid guided tour to admire the impressive architecture and Luxury from inside... even a expensive one and with few frequencies during the day.

Quick review as a sightseer, not a hotel guest.

This structure is quite remarkable. Even if you can't afford to eat or stay there, at least take a few minutes to see it from the outside. I would recommend going at night, the building looks otherworldly all lit up in red. The balconies/outside areas at Madinat Jumeirah complex are the best place to get a great picture.

You can’t get anywhere near this building as there is a manned barrier preventing entry. The public beach on one side is under construction and the other side is private. It is fun trying to view it from different angles by hopping on and off the Big Bus tour.

Since the moment we arrived to the hotel we have been warmly welcomed by Samuel who went above and beyond to make our arrival experience pleasant and hassle free. During my stay I’ve lost my wallet with all my IDs, however team reacted quickly and the wallet was delivered to me next day. One more thing to mention is bed inside the room, it’s extremely soft and fluffy, makes you feel you’re sleeping on a cloud.

Thank you Burj Al Arab Team and Samuel, it has been a memorable experience! Can’t wait to be back soon!
